You can buy Gymbucks on Ebay I got $150 off $300 for $30 other day, a lot cheaper than buying the clothes to earn the gymbucks.

Now that's a good idea!! I used to do Gymbucks, but ended up spending way more money than wanted, when you figure in how much you spend to get them and then to redeem them. It is a great deal if you don't have to pay to get them. That's just me, though ... they have a lot of great clothes!

I love to share my Gymbuck deals! I do my shopping in the store. I only buy stuff that has already been marked down, to get more bang for my Gymbuck. I also try to get as close to the needed total as possible, so as not to dilute my savings. Most of the stuff I bought came from the Sweeter than Chocolate line and supplemented stuff I already had. I bought
2 pairs of pants
2 pairs of leggings
4 skirts
8 shirts
1 sweater
2 dresses
1 purse
1 tiara
3 pairs of socks
2 pairs of tights
2 bracelets

1 pair of underwear
I spent $100.20 (not including tax) after redeeming my Gymbuck! Full price for these items would have cost $499.50 (I am freak -- I insist on figuring out how much I saved, not that I would have ever paid full price).

Looks like you guys got some great deals! I don't do that stuff anymore, because I save more money by not falling for their marketing gimmick. I just buy a few items on sale and that's it. We tend to go into the store now, because my kids are of age where they like to pick out their own clothes, as long as it passes the mom test.


I'm all for you guys stimulating the economy.

I redeemed mine onlin at 8pm PST 1/14. I don't have a list of what i bought, but I know my total was over $150 and with Gymbucks it was $80 something. YAY! I got some shorts, and spring tops, flip flops and a dress. I wanted to buy stuff for next Winter but I have no idea what size my DD will be. She wears 4t tops and 3 bottoms, and she's super tall for her age. So I held off on those. Great thing is, I live near the Dixon, CA warehouse so I'll get my stuff today or tomorrow!!!

I understand your concern. I would be leery of buying coupons on there if hadn't researched it first. I first got the idea from someone else on this board, and I've never sold anything on ebay before, but I noticed that there were a ton listed, and a lot that had already sold.

I would think that you'd be guaranteed protection if paying via paypal. I only listed paypal as my choice of payment, because I figured people would feel more comfortable paying that way. Plus, I only chose to send the code online via email so they could get it immedately and not have to wait for the mail (since the Gymbucks are time-sensitive).
