Is the 7-10 days from the phone status line, or on the website/email after submission?Ack just applied for the Chase Hyatt card and got the "under review, we'll let you know in 7-10 days" message.
My best guess is that I am near the total CL for Chase cards. I'll probably call tomorrow to see, unless 7-10 days isn't a reliable sign of an impending rejection . . .
The language on the website is generic, and really means nothing other than it's not an instant approval or denial. The phone status line has the message we can interpret. 7-10 from the phone means they're sending you a letter in the mail. This letter is usually available in your account the next day, and is either a denial or request for more information (like id verification).
2 weeks means it's still being processed and is usually a good sign. The phone line is 1-800-432-3117 or 1-888-338-2586.
