My daughter gets it whenever I do and she's 13
Do you mean she physically has it on her boarding pass? I took the question to be, I get pre-check on my boarding pass but my DS11 doesn’t can they go with me?

From TSA:
I am traveling with my family; can they also use the TSA Pre✓® lane?
Children ages 12 and younger may use the TSA Pre✓® lane when traveling with a parent or guardian who has the indicator on their boarding pass. Travelers 13 and older who do not have a TSA Pre✓®boarding pass must go through standard security lanes or apply.

I’m curious if anyone here has received a 1099 if under $600 per SS....
saw those reports but since Amex sent out 1099s per card wondering if those people received additional 1099s a day or so later. The way Chase combined all cards on one form makes way more sense to me

Still nothing here.

Still no 1099s here... If I don't have them by the 15th, I'm filing my taxes. There's no reason they shouldn't be here by then.

Same with us. We have a tax appointment later this month and it's booked after my DM's appointment so I can drive her there and back. It's just too complicated to change both appointments.

DD applied for the Disney premier today to save $200 off her trip in May. I had her use both our incomes since I pay all the household bills, and she is an AU on my two highest limit cards, one Chase, so I was concerned about % of income. Ha, didn’t need to, not only instant approval but insane credit limit.

You're not the only one... this has been a brutal 12-18 months or so.

On the positive, I passed ROFR on my second DVC contract. pixiedust: Now I need to save up another batch of money for more points. It's a slow save since that goes to the bottom of the priority after retirement and everything else. #FirstWorldProblems
Congrats on passing ROFR party:

Please know that only works for pre-check. Since we go to the Caribbean quite a bit, it wouldn’t have made sense for DH and I to get it and not get it for DS since we wouldn’t be able to use the global entry to get through Customs so I paid oop for DS and DH and I used our CSR credits.

Congrats on the second contract!

I might have some dumb questions but I don’t know a lot about dvc. What is ROFR? What’s the benefit of having a second contract instead of just one?

1/9. You're probably looking at another 5 days. I think they were pretty backed up with the new restrictions.
I'm sure they are inundated with contracts! I'm trying to be patient, lol.
Did you ever get an answer on the Fidelity 1099? I never received one either and the one online doesn't show the bonus for me either. Strange.

No dumb questions..lol..ROFR is right of first refusal....When someone sells a DVC contract....the sale goes to DVC first...they can buy it from the owner instead of the buyer....it only comes into play when buying resale
Lots of us buy one DVC contract then find out we’d like more points so buy second and third etc...contracts

ROFR stands for Right of First Refusal. When u buy DVC resale, it goes to Disney first and they can either waive their right and let you buy it or they can buy it instead at the same terms you agreed on with the seller. Contracts priced way too low may be taken, or certain contracts they have a wait list for.
I can't answer why @GlamMistress bought two, but reasons I have seen are add-ons to well add more points. Maybe take more trips or stay in a bigger room.
ETA: I see @palhockeymomof2 beat me to it :)

In your situation I think PCing your CIP....to the CIU..is a good move
.then once in your new home you can apply for the CIC....meet the spend...PC the CIU to another CIC...so you can get the bonus on the CIU as well

This is smart! I can't seem to wrap my head around having more than one of the same card. I downgraded my Ink Plus to the Ink Cash quite some time ago. I recently applied for and was approved for the CIU. So, I should PC my Ink Cash to a CIU. Then apply for a new Ink Cash. I currently already have 4 Chase business cards though . . . feel like I'm pushing the limit.

We have 2 160 point contracts at AKV because we paid cash for both. The first time we used a very unexpected bonus dh received. The second time we used money from my parents' estate that came to us in cash (not one of the inherited IRAs etc). Adding the second contract enabled us to move up to 2bedroom units and/or take couples-only trips without touching the family trip points.

We'd like a third contract at some point though I don't know where. BWV would be good for couples-only trips. BLT would be great if we eventually have grandchildren. The kids (lol what kids: 26, 24, and 19) love AKV the most.

You’re never pushing the limit until you are denied! LOL! I would absolutely PC that CIC and try for a new CIC with bonus :)

I have 4 now too...CIP, CIU, CIC and SW...going to cancel the CIP when the year is up in May...but I’ve seen people on reddit report they have 6.
Is there a reason you wouldn’t just cancel the CIC you downgraded from the CIP.. before applying for a new CIC to get the bonus

Still need to catch up from last night, but I wanted to circle back on my (so far) very frustrating interactions with Chase on the 1099 error issue. All Twitter support came back with was a number to call for the 1099 department. I recommend skipping this step and going right to CS. The first time I called in to the 1099 department, I was cut off in the middle of explaining my issue. The second time I called in, I explained the issue and then was told that the person in the 1099 department could only see a copy of my 1099 and had no access to information on the detail behind it. Completely useless!! He then transferred me to CS who made me repeat my issue and then spent several minutes "researching." Turns out what he was doing was adding up the dollar value of refunds credited to my CF due to returns. What?!? I explained to him that if the 1099 related to points earned on purchases that were later reversed, then I need about 50,000 more points in my account to be made whole! That stumped him. He decided he needed to transfer me to a "specialist". I again had to give background on my issue. The specialist did indicate that she has had a number of calls on this issue. She also indicated she saw no redemptions or other points activity on my CF that would warrant a $500 1099. Sadly, her only course of action was to open an investigation into the issue that can take up to 30 days. She also suggested I call back in 2-3 weeks to follow up and gave me the direct number to her department. So frustrating to speak with 4 people this morning and end up with essentially no resolution. The 30 days really isn't an issue for me since I file on extension every year, but I doubt it is going to make those who want to file sooner happy. Needless to say, Chase Support heard all about my frustration with the lack of customer service via several Tweets this morning.

This is basically what I went through yesterday. I find it odd that they are requiring YOU to call them back (I was told the same). Shouldn't they be assigning case numbers and contacting us??

If denied for the CIC then they wouldn’t have a card to PC back (assuming they want both cards). There isn’t necessarily a guarantee that the CIC would be approved.

I pulled my Fidelity tax forms - there's nothing listed to claim as regular bank bonus 1099 income. I have an entire flight of forms from Fidelity because I do all my investing through them. I printed everything off and will be handing to my tax preparer Saturday. Thus it will become her problem to figure out!
