I don’t remember ever seeing Christine with friends. I’ve always thought Meri’s friend was just in it for the show

I really feel bad for Meri. I'm glad she is dating and trying to expand her support system.

Did anyone watch Special Forces? They really didn't like Kody. He gave good effort, but he comes off as odd. I was satisfied they called him out on his adolescent behavior.

I actually like Meri on TV, of course not sure how she is in real life. I’m sure her culture and her marriage caused a lot of trauma and people react all different ways. I still like her. I didn’t watch Special Forces at all

Did anyone watch Special Forces? They really didn't like Kody. He gave good effort, but he comes off as odd. I was satisfied they called him out on his adolescent behavior.

I watched it and also listened to Shawn and Andrew's podcast. On TV it showed that they did not like Kody but on the podcast they said they did like him but he did odd things and was too quick to do things. Like running when called instead of jogging.

In one of the interviews that the 5 did at the end of the show, Kody said that at night he would pee in the corner of the tent so he didn't have to wake anyone up. The 4 were not happy about this. He also claimed that he has been reaching out to all of his kids. Leon has recently said that it was all a lie and that he has not reached out to them since at least the funeral and that he ignored most of the kids at the funeral.

Kody has since said he intentionaly lied when he told the superiors on special forces that he was taking accountability and reaching out b/c he thought that was what they would want to hear and since it was a 'game' show that is how he chose to play it

Yeah but he said the same thing on the “Stand Off at Coyote Pass” episode of SW and that’s not a game. It’s “reality” TV.

Leon stated that Kody has not reached out to them. They didn't mention the other kids.

On Sunday's episode Ysabel stated she doesn't talk to her dad often but they do talk at times.

People online seem to think he shuns Leon due to their "lifestyle choices" and may reach out to select kids as he see's fit.

It's sad that Leon was so tough on Meri (for so many things! and always defended Kody) and she's the one who accepted Leon with open arms. Yes at the beginning I think Meri didn't react the way Leon felt she should have but that could be for a number of reasons. Her upbringing, shock and just having to get used to it but Meri has been the one who is being the real parent.

I think he only reaches out to the kids who still don't see all of his BS. You can tell Ysabel still wants her dad where as, for example, Leon and Maddie are over his BS and have very strict boundaries. They see him very differently than Ysabel and maybe some of the other kids. He hasn't reached out to Maddie in 2-3 years yet he talks to Ysabel every now and then. He's so ego driven even when it comes to his kids.

I just read an article today about how several of the kids feel about him. christine's son paedon was interviewed by some YouTuber within the last couple of years and shared about receiving an 'out of the blue' phone call from his dad-

"It's like an hour-long conversation and it goes really, really well," he recounted. "And I'm like, 'OK, I might be getting my father back. This is wonderful.'"

Then he called his mom.

Talking to Christine Paedon learned that Kody had been working to convince producers not to let his children trash him, "trying to put it in our contracts that we are not allowed to say anything negative about him on our platforms."

But it was a deal he couldn't close. "My mom was like, 'No, you're not allowed to tell our children what they can and can't say about you. You have to earn their love back,'" explained Paedon. "And I realized he didn't call me because he wanted to talk to me. He called me because he doesn't want me talking negatively."

Why does Kody think his ex wives haven’t healed or moved on? The way he keeps telling Christine he wants her to be able to heal and move forward. She’s remarried Kody. Seems he is the only one that hasn’t moved on. Dude is so full of himself. I love how Dave threw in there that Christine is healed. I think kody doesn’t comprehend that a woman doesn’t leave a happy marriage from one day to the next. It’s years of letting go. Once Christine decided to leave she had been “single” for YEARS. She had a big head start on her healing journey.

I haven't watch last nights but techancally Kody never says "sorry" he keeps says I want to apoloize but never I'm sorry.

I think all three of Kody’s ex-wives would make lovely friends. They’ve all had to live as single women for years, so I’m sure they all had close confidantes, maybe some women who didn’t want to be on camera.
