It's been a very calm few weeks leading up to the 4th, no fireworks AT ALL!!! I guess all the neighborhood pyro's took the county ban serious. I haven't even seen anybody going into the firework stores.
I am sure though, that now with the 4th over, they will start hitting the stores to stock up on their supplies, at a discount, for when the ban is lifted and we will be delighted with nightly shows.
And now that we have moved, we won't get the New Years Eve show that we have enjoyed for the last 10 years. Someone in the addition next to where we lived, always did a huge display on NYE. No matter how much snow was on the ground or how bitter cold out it was, they were out there setting them off at midnight.
