I added the discount but have a question.

I added the 25% off discount to our room at POP. I have a MYW package w/dining booked, but would I somehow get a better deal if I booked everything separately? It just seems like people are reporting a bigger savings that way.

If you changed your package to a room only reservation, you would not be able to have the dining plan. You must have a package (including tickets) in order to purchase the DDP.

Also, whether or not you have a package should not change the amount you are saving. If you are getting 30% off your room, it stays 30% off even if you convert the room only discount into a package. You are just paying full price for tickets and dining. So, no, you would not save more by changing to room only.

I think maybe the bigger savings that you are seeing are those people who booked longer stays or maybe moderate and deluxe resort stays. The % off was greater in the moderate and deluxe resort categories.

Right....the discount only comes off the price of the room and is not affected by adding tickets or dining.

Go on the website and price out the room only at full price. Then price out the package. You can then compare to what you have booked.

however if you do room only you can buy tickets thru undercover tourist and there are ways to save on dining since the DDP has too much food anyway. We get childrens CS for lunch, bagel or danish for breakfast and who wnats all those desserts
