Still tossing around 4 possible dates in the Fall, but based on POFQ standard room for 6 nights, 2 adults 1 child, no-hop tickets, Memory Maker, regular dining plan, SWA from Austin, souvenirs, etc.
This will be our cheapest trip - basically because DH cannot make it so DD & I will share a room with my mom.
$625 for 7 nights (May) at AoA - hoping for a discount soon for AoA or Pop
$770 flight DEN to MCO (might have enough miles for one 1-way soon)
$500 food
$506 5 day base tix (will have to add a day)
$200 souvenirs (never spend this much but I like to pad the budget)
$2600 total
I got the tickets a couple of years ago, discounted on Orbitz and purchased through Ebates. By doing reward sites this trip will be free (well, except for the time I spent on my sites )
Way too much. We decided to do a Land & Sea this time (4 nights each) because we were sticker-shocked at the Fantasy 7-day Spring Break cruise. When we started planning, DH decided he wants to stay at Wilderness Lodge, and I decided that we should have Park Hoppers since we are going during a time of peak crowds and we'll only have 3 park days. So, in the end, I think our Land & Sea will cost as much, if not more, than if we had booked the 7-day Eastern Caribbean.
Well, now that I'm actually starting to book things, I can contribute.
Big Trip 2015
Jun 14th - July 1st
Flying from Houston to MCO
5 nights at the Poly with 3 days at the WDW parks
7 night sailing on the Fantasy Eastern Caribbean
4 nights at Portofino Bay with 3 days at Universal parks
Current budget is coming in around $16,000 - but that's with no discounts on rooms. I'm hoping to maybe knock that down a $1000 or so with some room discounts, but we'll see.
This is probably going to be our last trip to Florida for several years, so we're going to hit it all while we're there.
I bought the flights through united about a week ago. Delta had the same price but times did not work well. It's not a nonstop which I don't love but for the price I can take the extra stop. While I was booking they actually went up to $230 and I kept getting an error when I tried to purchase. Had to call and they gave me the price that I had found. $197 RT. I literally check flights everyday.
Kinda scary when it is all added together but fortunately have been paying for the trip as I have been booking everything over last 6 months. So only thing left is meals when at WDW.

There are 6 of us so around $6500 by the time we add in the dining plan and tickets etc. My DH likes to use the dining plan because we go in the summer and the meals are a nice break from the heat. We are going Aug 30-Sept 5 and staying value. AOA is about $6548 total and ASMU is about $6148. We just get 5 day park hoppers with water park options. I believe 2 value rooms might be slightly cheaper still so we will decide about that.
