How Much is your 2015 Vacation going to cost you?

I've spent around £13,000 ($20,300 ish) on Disney trips for 2015, that's an April trip for 2 people and an August trip for 8 people, April we are at AS Sports 7 nights with free breakfast and August we are at AKL 8 nights with free DDP, this also includes 14 day park hoppers and all flights. As we are from the UK flights are quite a large amount of the budget, they were £948 for April and £4576 for August. We are yet to book Universal but think we are looking at another £800-£1000 on tickets! Dear me really adding up and none of this includes spends although we did get about $600 work of gift cards with the room/dining deal we booked.

Me, Wife, Daughter 8, Son 4.
7 days / 6 nights Polynesian club level garden view November 29 (dd8 birthday) through December 5th. $4,285.

7 day park pass for 4 with park hopper. $1,598

Flight - BDL to MCO JetBlue. $1,800

Memory Maker. $169

Standard Dining Plan for 4. $960.

Mickey's Christmas Party for 4. $260 aprox.

Total: $9,072

A couple of variables. I can save aprox. $600 by flying out of JFK rather BDL. But BDL has better parking, nicer and smaller terminals, less baggage loss, virtually no traffic, a 30 minute drive vs. an hour and a half drive. Still have not decided. Need to wait until flights become available to see.

I'm hoping for free dining being offered for our time frame. Historically they have. This would save almost $1000.

My daughter wants to do a water park. Blizzard Beach is the only water park open during our stay. Weather we do or not depends on the temperatures at the time. If we do, it's an additional $208.

Here are my estimates:

Who: 1 adult 1 child (my 4 yr old niece)
When: Sept 23-26
Where: Renting DVC Bay Lake Tower lake view studio, 3 nights: $741
Tickets: using my old nonexpiring WPFM PHs; 1 day at MK + water park for niece = $157
Flights: $600 from Manchester NH plus $150 roundtrip for me to get to NH to accompany her
Food (bringing snacks and breakfasts, quick service meals): $220
Chef Mickey's: $70
MNSSHP: $130ish

Grand Total: $2068 but my brother's paying for our flights so I'm only paying $1468

Where: AKL Jambo House Club Level
When: December 14-22
Who: 2 adults, 1 child (17)
35% bounce back discount---$3380
7 day park hopper tickets---$1227
Memory maker---$169

Approx $4780 that has been booked so far.

Estimate $250 each for airfare and we have $300 in courtesy vouchers from our last trip, so $450 total est.

Food and miscellaneous $2000

Total estimate $7300...oh my!

Right now for our upcoming trip 2 days LM room at AoA, 7 days in a 3 br at Floridays, 6 days in 2 br at Sunset Vistas on the Gulf Coast, 3 x 5 day Disney base tix, 3 x flights out of Seattle, rental car, total right now incl expected taxes and fees but before spending money (and asked for Disney GC for Xmas, got about $225 total), total is $1300. Plus a bunch of different reward points. Plus a lot of hours on the web looking for deals.

2 adults + a 10 year old "adult" LOL

Sept 12-12 at AKL
6 day tickets (will probably upgrade eventually when plans are concrete)
possible free dining (add about $800 if not for OOP dining)
$3630

Airfare from OK about $1200
MNSSHP, a tour or two, and extras $1000

appx. $5830 at this point

I planned a camping trip for spring break at FW...6 nights, 6 people. I'm taking my youngest son (16) and my cousin is coming with 3 of her kids, all teens. We got DVC promo 4 day tickets. I'm figuring my portion will be around $1400 for the campsite, 2 tickets, expenses related to the drive down, Hoop Dee Doo, and food/misc. Not bad for a week at Disney! We usually use our DVC points and non expiring passes, but the promo deal was a good price for tickets and my family used our 2015 points on an extended family trip to Vero Beach last summer. Great excuse to tow the camper to Orlando!

We own DVC, and although I know that cost us money when we bought it, I don't factor it into our trips since we are only paying MF's year to year. We also bought PAP's last year that we will use again for our spring break trip in 2015, so I'm not counting that either.

So for our 2015 trip, I estimate our out of pocket expenses will be around $2000-$2500 for 2 adults / 2 teens for 6 nights in a 1 bedroom DVC unit at AKV Kidani. That should pay for gas, being able to go out for a nice table service meal daily, a counter service meal daily, and purchase souvenirs. Since we'll have a kitchen in our DVC, it might be less if we decide to have some meals in our unit.

Who: DH, myself, DD (8) DS (6)
When : Feb 14-22
Where: AKLV Jambo Savanna View 14th-17th then BWV 17th-22nd 1,812.00
Flights: From Boston to Orlando $1,823.30 for 4 :faint:
Food: 800.00?
Tickets 8 day park hopper $1,563.26
Souvenirs 100.00
Airport transportation from our house to Airport and back 144.00
Total=6,242.00 :faint::faint::faint::faint::faint:

August 18th-20th Beach Club (paying OOP for food) $400 (using the 'magical' promotion = great room price:banana:) plus food ($200)
August 20th-September 2nd (13 nights) @ POFQ and Free Dining Bounceback and 8 days base tickets about $5000
flight (hopefully southwest)- hoping around$1200

So $6800 (but U.S. dollars -exchange for us Canadians right now is :scared1:).
I still think that we are getting a great price.
2 adults and 2 DD's (ages 13 & 16)

Still in the planning stages:

6 nights at FWC. Florida resident discount-$2,001.18
We have passes, so no cost for tickets. We are going to have to rent a rental car this year. As there will be 6 of us in the cabin. (my ds is bringing his friend again this year.)

Food expense- We plan on having most meals at the cabin so I am thinking 300 dollars worth of food for the week and another 500 budgeted for park expenses.

Roughly 3 grand for the 6 days.

2 Adults, 1 Child (4)
8 nights May 19-27th

$1919.88-6 day non park hopper and room at Pop package
$798.60-Non stop Southwest flight from DAL to MCO
$149-Memory maker
Total: $2867.48

We received a bunch of gift cards and Disney dollars for the holiday so most of our food and souvenirs will be purchased with those. We'll have a friend drop us off and pick us up at the airport and with SW we get free bags so no fees there.

Ok let's see:
Me, DD17 and DM back to Pop for 16 nights, free dining bounce back from last year w/upsell to table service, 1 park per day ticket 10 days. $4,000
RT on Alaska $1150
Out of pocket dining $400 tips for free dining table service $250
Grand total: $5800 not including souvinears:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: cause if you don't laugh about it you will....:crazy2::crazy2:

At this point we are looking at just under $5,000 for 2 adults and 3 kids.

$891 Flights for 5 people
$3146 9 nights at CBR and 8 days of base park tickets
$1200 dining
$400 for extras and souvenirs

We should be changing from a spring discount to a CM discount soon in which case we will add Memory Maker with our savings.

Total comes to about $5600 but we are using gifts of gift cards, 5% Target discount, getting GC from our DVA and using rewards from our visa so it brings our actual out of pocket trip expense to about $4950.

Myself & Grandmother (using military discount on rooms)
-Jan 13-17
Wilderness Lodge Club Level with dining plan 3 nights

- $313

total: $2,610.36

Me (hi! :wave2: ), ds 10 and dd 13.

Plan on driving down --have gas cards saved for this purpose. If we can get a good airfare though we may take that for an 'easier' trip.

June 21-26 5 nights, 6 days

June 21-23 AKL Std View with 5 day park hoppers (one free ticket to water park) $1527.24
June 23-26 Beach Club Std view $861.15

Food will be oop.

Total$2388. 39

I wonder what the average length of stay and the average cost is, just on this thread? I was actually kind of astonished how many people spend close to 10k dollars on their Disney Vacation. Wow! Lots of fortunate families in that situation.

We don't live very extravagant lives, but we spend a lot of vacations. Not planning 2015, but in the three years we've averaged about $20K for the five of us. A week with two rooms at a deluxe, MVMCP parties and then a day at Discovery Cove, flights from Denver, car rental to see my mom.

Expensive place, Disney is. Of course, so are dude ranches and beach houses and ski trips (Beaver Creek wants $1800/room/night during Spring Break). Just the cost of trying to get away I guess.

There are so many factors. I mean we stay for 14 nights and our package with tickets, dining and memory maker is 3500.00 for a family of 4. Staying in a value with the QSDP free. But then I need to add another 1200.00 or so for air, MNSSHP, PL for the girls and a few OP TS meals. I mean once I add all that in it is usually pretty high.
