How many DVC'ers use the DDE card ...

We just bought our first TIW card on our last trip this past Nov. It paid for itself on the first day.
This works for use because DH and I visit WDW about twice a year. We do not do the DDP and have family members that live in Fl. We often meet them for dinner and we usually pick up the tab. On the first day we had 5 adults for TS lunch and 9 adults for dinner at Ragland Road.
Also if you're a AP holder you get a $25 discount... So for us it's great deal

We are on our 2nd DDE/TIW card. It pays for itself usually the first trip, Denise and we are a family of 4.

I have the card, but I don't use the DDP. I bought it in September and it's good through next October, so it will cover four trips. I usually travel solo, eat no more than one TS a day (sometimes none), and rarely drink, so it took two trips to break even (actually, I'm about $20 ahead at this point). I'm taking two adult children, their spouses and three grandchildren in May, and it will save us at least $100 on four character meals. I think it's a great deal!

It's just DH and I and we save some serious moola by using this card. Granted, we usually eat lite during the day and splurge on dinner at the Signature restaurants and always order a bottle of wine...

On our 6 night trip in October we saved $166! Of course, that did include dinner at Victoria and Alberts ($80), Jiko, Ragland Road and a few other places...
