what is the earliest and lastest you would ever call someone when it wasn't an emergency? I got a 5 am phone call this morning from a lady wanting prayer for her sisters FIL who was going into the hospital later today. Its a large church and I don't know these people, so my question is how early did she called the people she does know??? Saturday night I got a call at 11pm reminding me I was signed up to be a greeter. Don't these people ever sleep????

Unless I know someone very well and know they wouldn't care if I woke them up.... I don't call people before 9am or later than 9pm.

before 8am and after 10pm
but I won't call anyone until after 10am on a weekend.

I once got a phone call from DirecTV at 7:45 on a saturday morning...he wanted to know how I liked my system. (We've been customers for over 4 years now.) I said "Before 8am on a Saturday? What do you think?" and slammed the phone down.

My don't get me ticked off calling hours are 9am-9:30pm.

I had someone call me at 11pm (I was asleep) to discuss service hours at school. I told them I'd have to get back to them at 5:30 the next morning when I got up.

ugh

10 AM - 8 PM
That's for friends!
Family anytime.
All others... 10:00 AM - 10:05 AM!

Anything before 9:00 AM is too early for me, even if I am up at 6:00. As for evening, I start getting my daughter ready for bed at 8:00 so I hate when the phone rings as I am trying to get her to sleep.

Oh my gosh! We get Saturday morning sales calls all the time before 8am and we are sleeper inners. We don't usually get up on Saturdays until around 10:00 (we don't have kids ;) ) It is soooo annoying!!!

Earliest 9 AM ; latest (except for our annoying neighbor who lives in the downstairs apt.) 10 PM.

Said annoying neighbor calls at all hours for ridiculous things, like wanting to gossip with DBF about the other neighbors , his new car, his girlfriends new job, his parent's new boat, etc. etc. etc. He calls us 10-25 times a day . He is the most annoying person I have ever met. Yet, DBF thinks he's amusing so he won't block his number.

When I was working for a bakery and had to be up at 4am, I got a phone call at 1230 am (wrong number) I have Caller ID so I called them back at 4am to ask what they wanted.

ROFLMBO - that's a good one!!!!

I would never think about calling anyone before 8am or after 9pm and I wish others were the same. On the weekends I would move that up to 9am for the earliest.

Well, it really all depends on who I am calling and what for. I try not to call anyone before 9am and no later than 9pm. My in-laws call every Sunday before 9am, and it realy annoys my husband. He would love to just once be able to sleep in without being woken up by the phone!!!

During the school year, on school days, I both make and receive calls as early as 7:15 - and that's fine cuz we're all up and hustling anyway.

Other days - usually not before 8:00 and even preferably not before 9:00 a.m.

For the end of the day, the school year thing applies also - no kids calling after 8:00 p.m. on a school night, and would prefer no calls at all after 9:00 p.m. Certain family and friends are fine up until 10:00 p.m.

For most people I would say between 10am and 10pm. There are quite a few people that I know I can call after 9am (they have school age children too) and a few people that I know I need to call between 8:30am and 9am or I won't catch them.

Unless it's family, who will want something specific, I'd rather not be bothered before 9 AM or after 10 PM. 9 PM if it's a call for the kids and it's a school night. I'll give them till 10 too in the summer.

Not before 9am, and not after 9pm.

for people I don't know: 10:00 am (because someone might have gotten to bed late the night before, they might not feel well, you just never know) and 9:00 pm...because sometimes people go to bed early

if they're my friends or family, they can call whenever they want! :Pinkbounc

Don't call me before 8 am during the week...I'm busy getting ready for work and kids off to school. Don't call after 9 pm...I'm too tired to talk then.

I used to work over nights and my in laws would call in the morning (after 9am, when the kids were finally off to school and I was in bed) Hi...Did I wake you? They would talk about the supidest things. I would tell them over and over that I sleep from 9-2...please don't call...but they still would.
