how early is too early for a phone call?

I wish this rule worked in our house...

My sister calls whenever (the other night it was 2am, I thought something was seriously wrong... nooo she just didn't know what time it was)

And my husband's friend Rich... That man.... he calls at the worst times. WHO calls on a Wednesday night at 11pm wanting to come over just to hang out (NO other reason).

Most people I don't call before 9am. I have one good friend that I do call earlier because I KNOW she's up. She does daycare in her home, so she's up by 6am. I only call her once I know her kids are off to school. As for later calling.. I don't usually call anyone past 9pm unless they know ahead of time that I'm going to call.

7 am for weekdays and 8 am for weekends. 10 PM is latest for nights and whenever on the weekend

I usually won't call anyone before 9, or after 10. When I was working tech support for the campus helpdesk, and doing callbacks, I wouldn't call anyone before 10.

Certain people that I know are late risers and also get to sleep late, I'll call until midnight (they're ok with this)
