Is there any home remedy that anyone knows of to get rid of this thing? I'm supposed to go on a business trip with DH tomorrow and I can't even talk right with this thing.

Wow, that's interesting. What in the world did you google that brought you to the DIS??!nolimit165 said:Wow. I get these things everyone once in a while, and I even asked my Doctor and he said "looks like an inflamed taste bud" and told me to wait it out. So Im like screw that. I Googled the topic and came to this board. Im so relieved that Im not the only person that gets these stupid things. The doctor made it sound like hes never seen anything like it before which freaked me out. I tried all kinds of oral stuff to make it go away and nothing works! Im too scared to pluck it with a tweezer though. Ive had it about 2 days and its starting to shrink and fade away now.![]()

I hate those things (my grandmother called them lie bumps, too!), and they heal a lot faster and are less painful when you just rip 'em out.![]()
