Here is another source that is from 2009, and the e-mail address sent the following information back to them from Disney:

"I have two bricks at WDW. One at MK and one at TTC. I couldn't find the one at TTC, so I sent an email to their Brick Program e-mail box...

They have an auto-response set up to help them answer your question like SUPER quickly. If your question isn't answered, they send a response within just a few days. If your question has been answered by the auto-response, you can write them a second e-mail with "Additional Information" in the subject line to get help.
Here are the "frequently asked questions" that are answered right off the bat:
Q: Can someone help me find my paver (brick)?
A: Assistance with locating your paver is available in person at Guest Relations, located to the right of the turnstiles at the Magic Kingdom. Guest Relations Hosts/Hostesses will be happy to retrieve your paver information as well as provide you with a map showing you what section your paver is located in so you may view it during your stay.
Q: I would like to sponsor a paver. How do I go about doing that?
A: The last paver for Disney's Walk Around the World was sponsored in 2000. After that, Disney's Walk Around the World was replaced by Disney's Leave A Legacy at Epcot as part of the Millenium Celebration. At this time, we are not soliciting the sponsorship of new pavers as part of Disney's Walk Around the World.
Q: Is there a way Disney can place me on the "waiting list" for when new pavers are available?
A: At this time, there are no plans to make additional pavers available for sponsorship and there isn't a waiting list. The last paver was sponsored in 2000 and the program was replaced with the "Leave A Legacy" program at Epcot as part of the Millenium Celebration.
Q: Upon a recent visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I noticed that some of the pavers have "2007" on them. I thought Disney wasn't allowing Guests to sponsor new pavers?
A: The paver is not new as we are not accepting new sponsorship agreements. Pavers with a 2007 year stamp on them have been recently refurbished at the request of their sponsor as part of their sponsorship agreement. Upon completion of the repairs, the date stamp was changed to 2007.
Q: I sponsored a paver and visit it each time I visit the Magic Kingdom. Upon my most recent visit, the paver has lost its luster and is starting to become unreadable. Is there a maintenance service available?
A: Pavers within their 10 year sponsorship agreement are eligible for minor refurbishments (cleaning, re-glazing, relettering) upon request. To request a minor refurbishment, please send us the name of the person who sponsored the paver, the message that appears on the paver, the paver number, and the hometown at the time of sponsorship. Pavers outside their 10 year sponsorship are no longer eligible for refurbishment. Should a paver outside its sponsorship contract become so badly worn that it poses a potential safety hazard, it is removed and replaced with a blank paver. At this time, we do not offer any type of "extended maintenance" packages or sponsorship renewals for pavers outside the terms of their sponsorship agreement.
Q: I sponsored a paver, but my family has changed and I need to add/subtract individuals. Is there a way to have this done?
A: At this time, we are not accepting new paver sponsorship orders. Unfortunately, this also includes information change orders. Disney does not currently offer a service that would allow our Guests to pay to have the wording on their pavers updated.
Q: I sponsored a paver many years ago, but have lost my information or my paver has been moved. Can someone tell me what my paver number is and where the paver is located?
A: Assistance with locating your paver is available in person at Guest Relations, located to the right of the turnstiles at the Magic Kingdom. Guest Relations Hosts/Hostesses will be happy to retrieve your paver information as well as provide you with a map showing you what section your paver is located in so you may view it during your stay.
Q: Disney's Walk Around the World is starting to look a little worn. Are there plans to refurbish it?
A: Per the information provided at the time your family sponsored a paver, Disney's Walk Around the World was intended to last ten years. We are currently in the 15th year of its existence, and plans are being made to update the Magic Kingdom's turnstile plaza in the near future. These plans currently do not include Disney's Walk Around the World.
Q: I would like to request that my paver is sent to me at my home address as the sponsorship contract on it is about to expire.
A: We are unable to accommodate these requests, as your sponsorship of the paver does not imply ownership. Please refer to your original sponsorship agreement for details.
I asked some extra questions and got a reply within just a few hours! Disney says that there are plans to re-do the MK Entrance area and that the walkway won't be there when they are done...which is why they aren't really doing any refurbs on the bricks if they fall outside the "sponsorship agreement". I'm kind of glad that they are going to re-do it so they can fix the ugly security bag check mess and all the fences and stuff, but will be sad to see my bricks go. At least they kept them for 15 years. The original plan was only to have them there for 10!
Anyhow, I spoke with the people at MK Guest Relations and they were able to give me a fantastic map so I could find my bricks. They were really nice and helpful. I found my brick within just a few minutes because of the map."
