Late spring 2025 incentives (April 29-July 14)

I need to put together an analysis of how much the point chart at BWV would save me vs CCV, Poly and BLT. :coffee:
The chart difference from BWV to PVB is insane when you compare it! CCV may be similar to the higher BWV view categories. It's really insane seeing how many points the MK resorts require. Dues don't even make a big difference. I am sure contract duration would have the biggest impact.

Going to assign this task to my husband, he gets excited about DVC once I put him in front of a spreadsheet

If my memory serves me correct, CCV has an incredible point chart.

I don’t think there is a spreadsheet that will justify buying BWV. You have to love it and want a boardwalk or standard view.
Im pretty sure I will come back deciding that BWV is what I want regardless... but if I can have my husband look at the point chart differences maybe he wont be as on the fence about a 2042, even though he already gave me the green light to buy BW.

Whenever I think of going through that long resale process again it always brings me back to Riv and Poly!

Disney Visa promo is gone.

AP promo is new. $1,000 off starting on 100 points. Expires 7/14/25.

D23 $500 is still valid. The D23 flyer states through 12/31/26.

D23 and AP incentives are in addition to the developer promos per point listed on the DVC website.

You can also take Magical Beginnings on 150+ points paid at $20 per point.

Military and CM discounts are also available. I am not eligible for either so I do not have information about them.
Is there a welcome home bonus available? I am staying at Boardwalk in 3 weeks and my wife wants our next contract to be direct to avoid any future restrictions? How does one get D23 bonus?

Sadly no welcome home bonus. The D23 bonus is $500 off and requires a D23 Gold subscription. It only costs 49.99 + shipping and tax to join so it more than pays for itself.

100 points was $225 opening day, $222 in the spring, and now $213. It's trending in the right direction! Only negative is no Magical Beginnings if you wanted to sell back current UY at 100 points.
Good catch I didn’t remember MB on 100 points.

With the trade war simmering down, I imagine the recession risk is also fading away.

But I was curious about how Disney responded in to prior recessions, specifically 2008 (covid was too much of an anomaly). Does anyone remember if they did anything drastic with incentives?

Well, buyers of BLT got a 3-night cruise on DCL with a certain number of points.

They said on the earnings call that they are very happy with the Fall bookings…. I think it’s just summer that is going to be lite.

I would not expect any large incentives.

I went back and look at some of my old saved incentive sheets, I don't recall seeing any of the "extra" discounts on the 100 point level so that's something at least (I'm in the market for something that size so I may bite after our June trip this summer).

Bookings are distinct from sales though. I just glanced at a different thread @maui22 is keeping suggesting sales have really slowed down over the past couple weeks.

With the stock market rocketing higher lately, I also am not expecting recession level incentives, but if it’s a slow summer at WDW and interest rates don’t come down, we might get slightly better incentives or a flash sale of some kind?
