ROFR Thread April to June 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

Glad someone on the board got this one, but I dislike this broker’s tactics. I put in a full priced offer on it first thing in the morning and she immediately came back and said she had multiple offers already and that it would go for over listing price. She told me to submit my best offer by the end of the day and I declined. It seems like best and final was only $1.50 more than list, so she may have gotten her seller an additional $177, but she lost a potential buyer/seller in the process.
I think I know which broker it is. Same thing happened to me last month I just didn't bother to respond. Dirty tricks!

Same here. I don’t even look at this brokers listings since they started this best and final offers nonsense.
I mean, I wouldn’t mind if it was a genuine auction, but it’s just the fact that they list it at $X (with X always being a reasonable to low price to reel you in) and then refuse to sell for that amount!

I have purchased a few contracts
with that broker… smooth sailing once you get an accepted offer.

I have also had many offers rejected with them because my offer was to low or because there were multiple offers on the initial listing day and they were going to go with a best and final.

It’s just price discovery.

It is, but I don’t like it. Glad to I hear it’s smooth sailing once you’re in!
