Any signs of the cabanas yet? Hoping they keep the four that were there at least and hopefully add a couple more.

I can’t see any evidence of work indicating more. And definitely not being reinstalled yet. Some close ups of what I can see from the room. The 1st one is where the back cabanas would be I think.



We were in 5185, the same king room @Ricguz had in March k believe. I never make requests, but didn’t want to risk the room next to the CL prep room again. I called & requested 5175- 5185 location & was very happy with this room.

I was concerned pounding & noise from roof shingle replacement. I don’t see any evidence of roof work over guest rooms rug hr now, just over the restaurant & walkway areas. I’m sure things were louder when cement was being jackhammered & torn up. But noise didn’t seem too bad when we’ve walked past.

I hope we left it nice and clean for you! Actually the scaffolding and the work noise outside the balcony wasn’t bad at all in March. I liked the balcony size, I little bigger I thought than the other king rooms I have had at club level (5227, 5215).
For those who weee asking we did see some workers up near the slide in March but I don’t think took the slide apart at that time. We are also hoping they could smooth the slide out.

We walked back from Epcot past BC this afternoon. All 3 pools seem pretty full of water, although the large hose was still going in the same spot. I saw a few workers in the pool area. But they seemed to only be tending to the hose & pool filling, not doing any other construction work. I looked closer at the cabana area & still don’t see any indication of expansion.

The one thing I didn’t do that I meant to was walk past the quiet pool a few times to check crowds. Just never got there.

I will be at Yacht Club on July 18th. Seem pretty Sure Sure it will be open.
I have a little hope for Test Track

We will be there right after you. We are at the GF July 20-25 and at YC July 25-August 1. High hopes that pool will be done and fingers crossed for Test Track

It will be done sometime in June

That is not a gamble. The refurb is through end of June.

For anyone who has recently stayed at the Beach Club, how was the beverage cooler? Do you think it would keep yogurt and cheese sticks cool enough to remain safe to eat? Thanks!

We stay at YC, but I always keep cream for my coffee in the cooler and it is always fine.

I’m so excited to request to be put on the ‘Be Our Guest’ list for 7th-15th Feb 2026 BC. Each time we’ve been to WDW since 2017 we’ve walked through the lobby’s and dreamed of being able to stay there again, well finally we can . Can’t wait to listen to that same soundtrack at Stormalong Bay and have a drink at Hurricane Hannah’s and be served by Tom, oh and use to EPCOT secret entrance

Beach Club rooms were updated in 2023 or 2024. Yacht Club rooms are getting refreshed now. The refurb work is on the Storm Along Bay pool as well as some roof, siding etc exterior work. There is nothing new, just some major maintenance work.

Anyone have any updates on this - whether they've been assigned a room at yacht club with the scaffolding in front? I have a club level room booked and will probably cancel if there is a chance of being assigned to one of these.

When we left Saturday, there was no scaffolding on the front (arrival) side of the resort. The scaffolding on the back (lake) side goes from Yacht Club entrance all the way to the Beach Club entrance. There are some water view rooms at both resorts with scaffolding outside. I did not see any work happening outside rooms when we were there. The workers we saw on the scaffolding were working on the common areas between the 2 resorts. We did not hear or see any roof work either.

If you are arriving soon & have a resort view CL room, you have a good chance of no scaffolding. If you have a water view CL room, the second hallway, 5215-5241 currently have scaffolding in front of them.
