Hi All,

I decided to ask the experts. :thumbsup2 I have not been to Disneyland since they built California Adventure. I have FINALLY talked my husband into taking our 2 children--ages 2 1/2 and 4--to Disneyland in early Dec. for my daughter's 3rd birthday. He wants to maximize the weekend and go to the parks on at least one of the weekend days. I think he is crazy.

So, my question is how crowded would California Adventure be on a Sunday the first week of Dec.? Keep in mind that I want to advoid crowds since I want my kids first trip to be as special as possible and waiting in lines is not something a 3 and 4 year old do well. :rolleyes1

Thanks for any help!

I think it will be fairly light, and definitely a lot less busy than DL. But keep in mind that if you are talking about Dec. 2, you will be CP crowds to deal with -- although they will be at DL in the evening, there may be some overflow into DCA for those escaping the CP crowds.

Weekends in Decemeber are more crowded then any time of year in my expereince. DL is worse then CA. If you take asdvatage of FP you should be fine. It is my favorite time of year to vist with all of the decorations!

We were at DLR the first week-end in December last year. We escaped to CA on Saturday as it was too busy at MK after the first couple of hours. It was very comfortable -- walked on rides, etc. Have a great trip!

We were told by the waiter at Carnation Cafe that had worked there since the dawn of time that DL was at capacity over half the days in the month of December. My guess is that many of those days were weekends.
