Hilton at WDW

OK...I am a newbie on DIS boards..GREAT SITE!! Can anyone tell me about the Hilton? Anyone stayed there? Thanks!

I am a travel agent and stayed there for a weekend to write a review.

It was a very nice stay. Rooms were average size for a standard room with 2 beds. Mattresses were very comfy and not worn. Room furnishing were nice and not out dated as many of the DTD hotels can be. Service was outstanding all around. We had a mini bar service as well as coffee with service and toiletries, hair dryer and in room safe, iron and ironing board. They had several nice restaurant choices for B-fast lunch and dinner. Even a Character breakfast which was just as good as any others on property. Internet service was also available in rooms. Towels were even above average.

I think you would have a wonderful stay.

The Hilton is also the closest of the DTD hotels to DTD!

DH and I stayed there a couple years ago. We had a king room that had a nice working desk, as well as an easy chair. The room was spotless, and included robes, and I want to think a microwave, as well as the amenities the poster above me stated. We were very pleased with the value based on the $100~ we paid per night.

The shop in the lobby has Starbucks coffee, and was great for a quick snack. We didn't eat at any of the other restaurants. The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was that we noticed room service trays in the hall for over 12 hours, which is a major pet peeve I have with any hotel.
