I know a lot of you have trouble with Pirate Ship Battle, so because im to lazy to play games and think of other projects.. Ive decided to make a Mini Pirate Guide since my Magic Chart guide was kind of a success
so here it is:
Lag Problems:
If you want to join a safe game, look for 2 on 2 games, 3 on 3 is good, but 4 on 4 is super lag. There have been many problems with level 3 games which result in a lag for the player.
Pirate Ship Battle
There are 3 levels of Pirate Ship Battle.
You can access each 1 by winning 10 times of the level before it. Example: 1 -> 2 requires : 10 W (wins) on level 1. Same goes for 2 and 3.
Ship Differences:
There are 3 ships to choose from, to change ships, simply click on the mini - ship next to your name and select, and click Ok.
Black Pearl: Great for Capture the Flag, but not good for ship battle (unless your a very very experienced Pirate gamer)
Stats:
Health: 3 Bars
Speed: 5 Max Speed
Fire: Holds up to 5 ammo, but shoots 3 at a time (use of 1 ammo = 3 cannonballs shot)
Cannon Pattern:
Flying Dutchman: The Balanced Ship of the game, it is well used in both Capture and Battle since it has equal health and cannon fire.
Health: 4 Bars
Speed: 3 Medium Speed
Fire: Holds up to 5 ammo, but shoots 4 at a time (use of 1 ammo = 4 cannonballs shot)
Cannon Pattern:
Wicked Winch: My personal favorite ship, this ship shoots a large quantity of cannonballs at once, but is weak on health and speed. Great for Guarding in capture.
Health: 3 Bars
Speed: 3 Medium Speed
Fire: Holds up to 5 ammo, but shoots 5 at a time (use of 1 ammo = 5 cannonballs shot)
Cannon Pattern:
Now for some tips and advice:
When shooting many of you might want to try and use a spread shot:
When doing a curved motion, the cannonballs come out in a spread shot. Which can cover a lot of distance around you, possibly damaging 1 or more opponents.
The Golden Bait:
Also, I notice this many times but..If you see a golden ammo lying there do not go to it and get it, But try and show that you are not getting it and use circular patterns close to the ammo. This will attract the enemy ship and when they get close enough to the golden ammo, FIRE! and most likely they will get hit by the shot
Terrain Advantage:
Many levels have terrain that let you SHOOT through them. The most commonly used 1 is the second round of the 3rd level. It is where the Port Royal team is.
Split-Second Shot:
This shot is used by myself many times, and it has helped to defeat many opponents. It is usually the secret of winning. When turning a corner, fire at the second, the exact second your ship turns. If you shoot it at the right time it will go in a straigh fire. If the opponent shoots back, use the curve and curve AWAY from the cannonball fire.
Dodging Fire:
When you see cannonballs coming torwards you, run away from the cannonballs straight. It will make a better advantage for not getting hit by the cannonballs.
Multiple Shot:
When using an S motion you get to shoot your opponent repeatedly. You can do this many times, it just shoots Many MANY cannonballs.
Capture The Flag
When capturing the flag there should be a Guard and a Capturer. The best combination would be:
Capturer: Black Pearl and Guard: Wicked Winch
The guard uses her/his shooting skills to protect the flag from being taken by the other team.
The capturer uses his/her speed skill to capture the enemy's team flag and brings it back to the base.
If you are the capturer and you come to a moment where you and the enemy capturer meet in an equal direction (when the enemy has your flag and is heading to their base and you have their flag and is heading back to your home base) you should fire the capturer at that split second and run off to your base with the flag. The effect of this causes the opponent to drop his flag giving you more time to get back to the base.
Many players ' SIT ' on their flags to prevent it from being stolen. Do not do this as it proves worthless for doing it at all. If you sit on the flag, the enemy capturer must shoot you to get the flag, and at the same time your capturer might be shot by the enemy guard. This leaves you with no points and the other team wins.
If someone does sit on the flag, You do not always need to shoot them to get it. A 50% chance of getting it would be go NEAR the enemy and trying to grab the little flag. If you shoot it, you have a 75% chance of getting away, the person might explode on you.
Explosion:
When you have been shot, Double - Click anywhere and you will explode.
That is all for now I need some more pics to continue this project. Please keep this bumped up and leave comments
