Happy holidays y’all. What running gifts did you receive this year?

I finally got a tracer 2 light vest with lamp. Now that I’m back to working in an office, it was a challenge to find daylight hours for my running. I tried it on briefly and bounced around the house but I’m most excited to take it for a real run soon.

Happy Holidays! I got DH the Tracer 2 vest and lamp for his early pre work runs. I got a Brooks Visible Thermal Hoodie and a few new Junk headbands.

My Shokz died a sudden and tragic death two days before Christmas, and I immediately said to my mom (who was right there when I was trying to fix them), "Hey, you know what would make a great last-minute Christmas gift?"

So I got a new pair of Shokz. Thank god, because running with wired headphones is terrible. How did we do this before wireless headphones??

I got a pair of Oofos slides that I love. Can't wait to wear them in Florida! And not really running related, but Disney, I got the Pluto 95th anniversary loungefly.

I do. I’m a big fan, and have several different kinds of Oofos. I love them, and would certainly recommend wearing them around the parks. I only have one pair that has ever given me any trouble—the design somehow rubs the back of my heel funny. My others are all great.

I bought myself new running shoes as my cat threw up on the last pair - $65 on clearance. I got my husband a new garmin and a heart rate monitor. We haven’t opened gifts yet so unknown if I got anything else. Our treadmill is getting fixed so that will be nice as it’s been down for 2 weeks.

I got a new pair of PowerBeats which I needed since my current pair is temperamental. And the new pair is purple!

I had the Minnie Sparkle Visor on my list and didn’t get it so I’ll pick that up at the expo.

I love my Oofos slides, but when I tried on a pair of shoes at the Expo one year (the first time that I had seen them in person), I was a solid NO on them. They weren't nearly as comfy as the slides IMHO.

It’s funny I bought oofos flip flops at MW in 2020 and never regretted a purchase of shoes so much. So many people talked about how much they love them but I have only worn mine a few times and every time I can’t stand them. I can’t bring myself to donate them because they are like new but I know I won’t ever wear them.

This is good to know. None of the stores near me carry them in stock, so I'll probably just try some at the expo. It's too late IMO to hope something gets delivered before we leave, especially with the fact that we're supposed to get 8-12in of snow tonight/tomorrow and have 50mph winds that will delay all of the delivery trucks by at least a day.

I got mostly running things for Christmas!

- single serve packs of Tailwind
- KT tape
- Body Glide
- 3 pairs Janji shorts
- Crowned skort (although this will mostly be for around the parks)
- CRZ yoga tank (which I really like so I might need to order more)
- another pair of Saucony Hurricanes, which despite ordering myself, already returned because I’d rather get the runDisney Ghost Max 3s since I can run AND walk in them
- light blue Shokz. I am debating whether to return these since I already have another pair of Shokz (orange), but I love the color so much.

- white shirt to use with my marathon costume
