When SNL does a skit about a TV show, or a movie, showing off the ridiculousness of it, that you never noticed before.

For instance, I like watching Nancy Grace. I never really paid much attention to her facial expressions when waiting for someone to respond to her question. SNL did a skit, and OMG!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: Dead ON! The 1st thing she said to the camera is "I am Nancy Grace, and yes, I choose to wear my hair this way."

Now all I see when I watch her is her hair, and her facial expressions. I can't help it!

Years ago, SNL did a skit of The Last of the Mohican's. All the skit was of the guy running. Just running. Then, I went to watch the movie, and once Daniel Day Lewis started running, I couldn't watch it, I was laughing too hard! :lmao:

I cannot look at President Bush without seeing SNL anymore. The squint, the laugh, everything is so dead on. It's amazing.

SNL ruined my disdain for Justin Timberlake. I'm still not a fan of his music, but the D-word in a Box video made me like the guy.

Before Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken "ruined" it, "Don't Fear the Reaper" used to be a great rock song. Not that I mind though. I wouldn't trade that cowbell skit for anything.

Every time I see Sean Connery, I think of the Jepardy skit and I laugh. :lmao:

But Nancy Grace is such an easy target. The woman is a self-righteous clown. I would have to sue SNL for not picking on her!

Huge Fan of Nancy Grace here... I am going to have to find that skit. I would love to see it.:lmao:

Everytime I see or hear Alec Baldwin I immediately think of his SNL skit about "Sweaty Meatballs" aka "Sweaty Balls" :lmao:

The skit with Kristin Wiig where she spins her hair with her finger and has to one up anyone she talks to, even if she has to make up a wildly insane story has made it imposible for me and my niece and nephews to keep a straight face around one of their aunts (my sister). She does the same thing. It use to be annoying - now it is funny...

nancy grace skit was mad TV now that I think of it. Sorry. Still funny.

SNL did a skit where adults were visiting a Disney park and it was so dead on, they laughed their way through the whole thing!

The cowbell skit is our family favorite!

The Dora the Explorer (Maraka) skit they did recently. I'll never look at Dora again without thinking "Can you help me decide if Robert Blake is innocent". Hahaha

"Mittens saved baby penguin! If Mittens chose to save baby penguin based on his beliefs, and Mitten's beliefs are not in his direct control, does Mittens really have free will?"

It is on YouTube if you search Maraka. It is hilarious.

Oh my God, that's the exact same thing that my fiance says!! I like JT a lot anyway; His music isn't the greatest, but it definitely gets me on the dance floor! He's not bad to look at too, and his dance moves are very unique!
Anyway, my fiance could not stand JT until he saw SNL and now he likes him (Won't say 'love' him, but likes him). Not his music but him as a figure (along with his acting in that movie which I forget the name of now..... depressing, but good acting!)
He still talks about the skit when he was in the CUP costume!

I can't watch Christopher Walken without thinking "we need more cowbell":lmao: :lmao: :lmao: or "cham pan ya" (champagne)!!!!!

There is not a meal in our house that includes brocolli that is not ruined by Dana Carvey and SNL.

I'm choppin' brocolliiiiii! Choppin brocOlie!

Have to agree with their George W. Bush. There was a skit when he was first elected and they had someone playing his brother Jeb. They were seriously talking to Jeb and GW was on the couch on his back with all fours up in the air playing with a ball of yarn.:lmao:

Then there was another one where GW was talking about working hard, really working, staying late, and having to order take-out so now when DH works late, we joke about ordering take-out. :happytv:
