Wanted to add this separately. I did 12 miles yesterday at 14.45mm. It was cold!
32 when I started out and 41 when I finished. I dressed in layers and when I stopped to get a new bottle of water at mile 6.5 I took off the scarf and headband (still had hood on jacket) and at mile 9.5, when I stopped at the house to get Roo for what I thought was the last two miles, I took off my thermal shirt. Should have taken off the thermal pants also. I should have had more water. I guess it was the dry cold that made me drink more.
Glad there will be plenty of water stations along the way. I don't drink much, but after mile two I like to have a few sips every mile. That works best for me.
Today is my rest day and I will take Roo out for her walk (two miles) on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday will be travel and picking up package, so I figure that will be plenty of walking. The 5K on Friday and a bit of walking at Epcot. Leisurely. No rushing or anything. I have to do some type of walking each day, I guess cause I do so much at work I am used to it. If I don't, I tighten up.
