Here's our dilemna. We have two rooms reserved with standard veiw with a request for connecting rooms. Although connecting rooms is our top priority, we would prefer to have one of the rooms with a lagoon view. Is it possible to have a standard view room connect with a lagoon view? Also, we are wondering what building (non-concierge) would be best. Assuming that we are probably not going to be able to get one garden and one lagoon view connecting rooms, we are less concerned with views than with which buildings are most convenient to the monorail and the new pool. Any suggestions? Also, if anyone has a link to a map that shows where the new pool is located, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

The theme pool is close to the main building, which is also where you would get the monorail. I think there is a map on Debs site, www.wdwig.com

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't think the theme pool is reflected in the map on Deb's web site. Would Big Pine Key be the closest building to it?

Yes, it's nestled onto the beach between Big Pine Key and the Main Building, on the way to the tennis courts but much closer to the Summerhouse.

You do understand that lagoon view doesn't mean castle view, right? In fact only about half the lagoon view rooms have the castle view. Might not even be that many, CaliD would have the answer to that one :)

I don't think it's possible to get connecting rooms, one lagoon view and one standard view. Personally without the castle view I wouldn't even worry about the lagoon view, garden view at the GF is very nice.

Thanks again for the info. I thought it would be nice to have one room where we could see the water parade from the balcony. (I know how hard it is to get MK view so I wasn't even going to request it!) It sounds like Big Pine Key is the best choice for us.

No, it is not possible to get connecting rooms with one a garden and one a lagoon. The way the buildings are set up the best you could do is be across the hall from eachother.

And, with the lagoon view, 2/3's of them face the MK and 1/3 do not. Of the 2/3, you cannot see the castle from every one due to the shape of the buildings.
