Apparently the Pins we get all go to my wife but they go to an old email address that I never check anymore. We we're already booked for our trip to All Star Sports-(we booked two adjoining rooms since we're taking along the babysitter) from 5/28-6/3. I found the pin and it's good for 10% more than what we got with the GP room only discount I used, but it's got alot of blackout dates and is only good for 5/31-6/4. So I guess the question is: Is it worth it to change reservations so that we use the Pin on the days that we can. I'm assuming this would mean I would have to have two separate reservations, which means splitting up the Dining Plan and potentially having to switch rooms. I've played that game before and it sucked. So what would you do? With two rooms it'll save us at least $100, but is it worth it?

Well, I would make sure you are considering all the potential costs based on what kind of offers you have. Splitting your existing reservation into 2 could result in you needing to purchase additional tickets. That would definitely be the case if you wanted the DDP with each part of the reservation because you can't buy the DDP without adding at least a 1 day ticket for everyone in the room. That alone would use up $100 in savings.

PP brings up the most important point. You would lose out on a bunch of savings from tickets because in order to have the dining plan the entire way, you'd need to buy separate tickets for each reservation, so you would definitely end up spending more.

A 3 day ticket for 1 person is $224. A 6-day ticket is $242. So you'd end up spending $448 if you split up the reservations and kept the dining plan on both.

Good point, I didn't even think about that because we usually have AP or are staying on my parents DVC points. I guess I will just stick with what I've got.
