Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. I thought my night at work would actually go pretty well until one of my co-workers really got under my skin in the last 20 minutes of my shift. I came way closer than I would have liked to completely blowing up on her. Being exhausted does not help when you get frustrated.

But you know what? It's OK. Because Paula and I are going on a Disney Halloween trip!! More like I'm totally crashing in on hers Haha. I'm really excited about it. And it's also when Laurie's supposed to be there too!

Bella, Is that your last shift working over night? Yes, Have the Happy thoughts . It's the pits to work when you are tired . I remember the days of going to college full time and working full time. Sleep was way more important then eating. You do that during the school year -- work and go to school---.

Hope working the earlier shift will make it easier on you.

Yup, last time I have to go in at 10p and get off at 6:30a which is a greatt thing. My problem is that when i try to nap, by the time I fall asleep I have 20 minutes before I ahve to wake up to get ready. So now I might actually get some rest before I start. We'll see how it goes next week. I just need to remember not to go in at 10p!!

Good morning, ladies!! Sunday already?? This weekend is flying by!!

Forgot to do an update on my health. They still can't figure out the cause of my heart issue but they did double my medicine. The good news about that is I haven't had an episode since they did. I'm hoping it stays that way.

I hope so, too.

I just heard that Amy Winehouse died today. So young, 27. I liked her style, it's too bad she led a troubled life.

So sad.

Just catching up can't do to much my arms are so sun burnt (it hurts when I bend them too much). I catered a party at the beach it was a beautiful day.

Ouch! Hope the burn goes away quickly. I did that to my lower legs once while at the beach wearing capris. It was an overcast day so I didn't think anything of it, but I received the worst burn of my life. It hurt to even walk for days after that.

No, it doesn't. Sorry that happened. Yesterday wasn't a good day for me either. I was snappy and on edge all day. So far today isn't starting out much better.

Beth - I hope today gets better for you!

I'm really hoping I can get myself out for a run today. I slacked off the past couple of days because of stress/exhaustion with work but it probably would have helped me feel a little better. I want fall behind if I can run today and tomorrow but I don't know if I feel that happening. Or dinner with my Great Aunt/Uncle tonight. It's horrible but I want to stay in and watch True Blood. I should go though. I haven't seen them in ages.

Paula, if you say so it must be true! No crashing in on the fun for me but I get to be a part of it. It's going to be such an awesome trip. Just wish I could be down there a few more days.

Just got back from a family reunion and quick trip to Yosemite. There were missing person signs for the students who went over the falls. So sad.

Wednesday, we are leaving for our beach camping trip. Woo hoo! Out of the heat!

Another place we like to use is the radio shopping show:

Click on the shopper's guide, then under categories click on show tickets. You have to be a member, but it's free to sign up, and you can have the tickets mailed out.


There are sites you can sign up for to get free tickets for certain shows, but you have to be local, and show a local ID when picking them up, so unless they want to move, that won't work for them.

No problem staying cool today - it is 61 and cloudy.

Today feels like the first day that I really have off since "quitting" my job. I have been so busy the past couple of weeks that I felt like I was still working. Going to try to take it easy for a couple of weeks until after family camp, then figure out what is next. I should find out this week if I will get unemployment - wasn't expecting to but it turns out that I might based on my circumstances. That will be nice but I do need to make sure I am actually sending out some resumes. I am considering opening my own coffee shop, but not likely that will work out. I would really like to do something different than the same kind of job all over again.

Hi ladies!!!!! & thanx Beth....we're up to $370 so far......still need to get Nick & Marie some donations.......if each person raises $150, they get a walk-day t-shirt. Mike's hitting up co-workers & gonna do a raffle for a cake. His co-worker makes fabulous food & this should be a good incentive for people to donate. My brother actually made a donation on both Addy & Anthony's page......lol I wasn't gonna worry about the 4 littles (which had to be registered)....but they were pretty excited they had each raised $20!!

Wow Beth - You sure know how to make the girls feel comfy! To answer your question, Alaska is cold and we are settling in nicely. I finally got my sewing room organized and I can sew again. Starting making some cute dresses for a couple of girls going on a make a wish trip to WDW. I should finish those dresses today.

I just made some yummy chocolate chip muffins. However, I pulled them out of the oven and dropped them! All of them, on the floor.
I hate when I do something like that.

...Wait, I do have good news! I booked the 15 day cruise to Alaska!! Our 10 year anniversary is this March, so I figure we can celebrate Hawaiian style. Course - I really don't know if I want to go on this cruise or go to Paris and Disneyland there. Decisions, decisions. If you could go anywhere in the world - Where would you go?

Kelly- I love following you a long on your vacation through the PNW, I am originally from the Oregon coast. I love reading about where you are, brings back so many memories!

Great news, I got my villa all booked for our stay in February. I will be there until Monday, since it's my first year I wanted to stay for the whole thing and not miss out on any of the fun. I think my mother-in-law may join me, possibly my BFF and another friend from high school. This is going to be an amazing trip!!!
