 Beth!! You are one amazing woman. Do you need a nap after that post?? :rotfl:

I see the light at the end of the tunnel . . . Jack goes back to school next Monday! :thumbsup2 AND this Friday morning my sister is coming over to watch the kids and dh and I, along with Cynthia and her dh, are heading to Sonoma for the weekend.

Jack will only be in school for a week before we pull him out for a week for our family camp at Camp Attitude up in Oregon.

And then on the 18th I'm heading to D23 with Michaela and Grant - this was their Christmas gift last year and we're all very excited. :cool1:

Beth~ That was very impressive ;).

I actually check in every day or two, but I'm just too lazy to post all the time :rolleyes1. But hopefully I'll be posting tomorrow after my doctors appointment with good news for me :wizard:.

Great news, I got my villa all booked for our stay in February. I will be there until Monday, since it's my first year I wanted to stay for the whole thing and not miss out on any of the fun. I think my mother-in-law may join me, possibly my BFF and another friend from high school. This is going to be an amazing trip!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Kandace

I was able to book our 2-bedroom villa too ! I need this trip BAD so I'm super happy they had availability :thumbsup2.

Hi everyone, sounds like y'all are in high gear.

I wish I could be there but I am taking the twins to Disney World for Christmas. We are going to be there from Dec 17th to the 27th. :cheer2::cheer2: So it is safe to say I won't have the money to come in Feb. :lmao:

Hopefully I will be able to come to the next one. I enjoyed myself so much in 2010 and would like to see everyone again. Now if I win the lottery between now and then I will be there you can bet on it. :rotfl2:

Where'd you live on the coast Kandace??? My hubby grew up in Coos Bay & I lived in Coquille until I was 12. Went back in college & met Mike, moved from area & then moved back & lived 10 yrs in North Bend.

Also sent you a PM regarding Autism Speaks!!

I graduated from Warrenton High School which is right between Astoria and Seaside. DH, DS and I were all born in Astoria. We moved up to Washington in 1997 since DH got stationed here at McChord and we have stayed here even after he got out of the Air Force. DH's mom and step-dad still live in Warrenton so we go down and visit quite often. DH's dad lived in Coquille for quite awhile and his little brother graduated from there. So we have visited there a few times too.

I'll check my email for your message- Thank you!

I was so happy about the availability I really thought it was going to be tough to get a room but it was no problem at all. :yay:

I only booked a one-bedroom since I don't have any commitments from my friends/family yet but this should fit us all. If it turns out to just be me I may downsize to a studio or see if any divas need a place to stay.

I am so ready for a Disney fix, I have been living through everyone's posts on FB and on here. Come on February!!!

Amazing post Beth! As I was reading I kept thinking, will she miss anybody? I have no idea if you did or not.:rotfl:
It's never to early for Halloween. In fact Michaels has stuff out and Christmas stuff as well. The Christmas stuff did nothing for me, I quickly got out of that isle.
After last Halloween I found a cool skeleton costume really cheap. I'll be wearing it to pass out the candy. I can't wait to scare the kids.
On Sunday DH and I headed out to go peach picking but found out that there was a bad freeze and none of the farms got peaches. I feel bad for the owners as this is how they earn a living. I'm also sad that I don't have fresh juicy peaches to eat.
Hope everyone has a great week !

Hi everyone!! (Anyone???)

Sarah: Hey drive-by girl! Can't wait to cheer you on at the race in December. I hope all is well with you!!

I'm good, just busy. We still don't have a new computer at home and since they decided not to replace my boss after he quit I've taken on a few more duties (but I did finally get a raise so that was nice).

I just made some yummy chocolate chip muffins. However, I pulled them out of the oven and dropped them! All of them, on the floor.
:sad1: I hate when I do something like that.

5 second rule! :rotfl:

:hyper: Yeah, what Beth said!!! :rotfl2:
:lmao:
Sounds like the donations are coming along. Here's hoping the cake raffle brings in the big bucks!

Wow Beth - You sure know how to make the girls feel comfy! To answer your question, Alaska is cold and we are settling in nicely. I finally got my sewing room organized and I can sew again. Starting making some cute dresses for a couple of girls going on a make a wish trip to WDW. I should finish those dresses today.

...Wait, I do have good news! I booked the 15 day cruise to Alaska!! Our 10 year anniversary is this March, so I figure we can celebrate Hawaiian style. Course - I really don't know if I want to go on this cruise or go to Paris and Disneyland there. Decisions, decisions. If you could go anywhere in the world - Where would you go?
Glad to hear you are getting more settled in. How sweet of you to make dresses for the make-a-wish girls. Are they Disney themed?

Bummer about the muffins! But who cares when you booked a 15 day cruise!! lol That sounds fun.
If I could go anywhere in the world, it would be Ireland. It's the only place outside of the US that I'd really want to visit. Not even sure why, something about it just appeals to me. Maybe one day.....

Whoo hoo!! That's great news! Makes it all feel more real when you start booking plane tickets, a place to stay, etc.
Sounds like you might be bringing a whole gang with ya! The more the merrier. :dance3: We might as well make this the largest Diva trip yet.

I've been so busy and a little stressed so I haven't been too big a poster lately.
Boo. That's not good to hear. Hope things improve for you soon.

Wow, he goes back early!! My kids are out until Aug. 29.
Have a great time in Sonoma this weekend. That sounds like the perfect weekend get away.

:cool1: :thumbsup2 Yay, glad you got it!! Whoo hoo! I'll be there for some raspberry vodka and 7-up. (did I get that right?? lol)
Here's hoping to hear good news at the doctor's tomorrow. :wizard:

Shirley! Hi! Well we are sure going to miss you on this trip, but you are going to have a blast with the twins at WDW. What a wonderful time of year to go there. Take lots of pics when you are there!

Just wanted to drop in and say hi! :wave2:
::yes:: :thumbsup2 Miss ya!!

I agree, never too early for Halloween. I'll have to run over to Micheals and see what they have. I just love their spooky Halloween villages. I keep telling myself one day I am going to put together a complete Halloween town. You know how everyone usually does a Christmas village? But mine will be all spooky! :thumbsup2

5 second rule! :rotfl:
:rotfl2: There ya go! That works.
Glad to hear you got a raise. More duties without being compensated for it sucks!

OK! I made it home (and squeezed in a movie with a friend). I feel productive. Now to just get me on a run today and things will be good. But I'm not so sure that's gonna happen ...

Seriously Beth, how do you do it? What an amazing woman to keep us all in your post.

I had a great week at an equine massage class and we finished up our certification with a hot air balloon ride. I don't love heights, but hot air balloons are like floating on air. I've done it a couple of times now, and it's not at all scary.

I've been doing equine massage for @25 yrs, but the class was still a lot of fun. In fact I had 3 horsey clients this morning. I love what I do!

Beth, you are the W O O O M A N! :worship: :thumbsup2 :worship:

The job search continues. One position I applied for was recently filled, three other positions have not been filled yet, and I just applied for a few more positions recently. Trying to stay positive even if it's a bit depressing at times. Positive positive positive!

Beth~ That was very impressive ;).

Hoping and praying for a good news appointment! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

And YAY for being able to book our 2 bedroom villa! Thank you Katie! You're just, well.....amazingly awesome!

Hi everyone!! (Anyone???)

This thread seems to have died lately. Although, I know most of us are chatting on Facebook. :rotfl:

Lisa: Are you recovered from your convention?? Your creativity amazes me!! My hats off to you!! I'd love to see some of your creations some time.

If recovering includes catching up on laundry and other housework that for SOME REASON does not STOP when I'm not here, then, NO. LOL I am finally back to my normal sleeping schedule though and most of my travel stuff is put away.... So, we'll call it "almost recovered". LOL

Beth....we have been grilling quite a bit since the new grill!! So much easier and faster than the charcoal one.

My top place to go visit is also Ireland. I think that it would be an awesome trip with just hubby and I....no kids!! Maybe in a few years? Not sure Donovan is ready for mommy to be gone for that long. They are used to Chris going away here and there, but not both of us. I think that they miss me more when I am gone on the Diva trips than when he is gone flying. He left today and will be back on Friday. He will be gone for two weeks starting at the end of August for training on a new aircraft. That will be hard, but we will get thru.

Well, time to get the kids to sleep. I have a scratchy throat and it is 10pm already!! They start back to school on the 17th of August. I really have to start getting the house on a better schedule!

Ireland and Scotland are on my bucket list. It's where my dad's family came from. And Italy. For the food. :cool1:

Hang in there, Capri!

How was the movie? popcorn::

That's so great, Chris. Not too many people in this world are lucky enough to be able to say that.

Trying to stay positive even if it's a bit depressing at times. Positive positive positive!
That's the spirit!! I will stay positive with you, and I know something will turn up that's just right for you.

Just have to say - WOW! Beth! That was impressive!!:woohoo::woohoo: You are amazing!
Nah, not really. The names are all on the front page. :rotfl2:

Almost recovered is pretty darn good. That works. :thumbsup2

Yes, I agree! No kids. LOL One day Ruben and I will take a trip to Ireland. If you get there before we do, I'll be hitting you up for tips and hints. ;)
Hope your scratchy throat goes away soon.
