I should be there at that time! I'm looking at Sept 29 - Oct 4! I finally got approval for Oct 3-4 off of work! It took 2 tries to get it approved but am excited I can use my AP one more time before it is expired.

MrsPinup, 36 hours I swear at the 48 hour mark I get so excited when I travel. Time seems to actually stand still until the last 12 hours then it seems like 12 mins. I sure think you did the right thing with Tahoe's dad. Being a grandma myself I love how you include Tahoe's paternal Grandmother in your sons life. Maybe one day Tahoe's Dad will figure out his life style is not working. I only had one client that said he liked how he was living and never wanted to change. Every other client hated their life style and wanted change. I bet the kids are so excited about your trip. I like how you added a day-- woman after my own heart . I am not sure why I thought I had to do Disneyland in 3days/2 nights. I did that for years until I added a day because of airfare and realized a couple of extra days did not break the bank, it actually let me visit parks at a do able pace.

Oh Bella that is so wrong that your lunch was taken. You must pack a good lunch. Is there a camera in the lunch room? Maybe you can look it up or leave in car and get later. This was happening at son-in-laws work until the wives made special lunches -- all on the same day--- after that lunches were left alone. I guess even the maker of the lunch gets offended so one wife called the others and made a special menu for a certain day. Hope you can get it stopped.

I am thrilled we added the extra day Since we have nothing going on this week and have AP's, why not?! I would stay longer if the hotel was free...or $20 a night. Well, there probably are hotel's that cheap, but I don't think I could have any peace of mind trying to sleep there!

Back from work and I need a nap. Today was not good, which figures, seeing as I had a great day at work yesterday..

I've never understood how people can do that. I mean, I've accidentally grabbed the wrong brown bag from the fridge, but as soon as I open it and realize it's NOT MINE, back it goes! Tahoe's dad was released from jail (I learned this at midnight last night) so I called him on a whim and we talked for a bit. I laid down the law and said I was going to be much stricter on visitation, that his mom and I would arrange times that worked for us. He is not happy about it, but he needs to learn that it is time to grow up.

Jessica - Sorry about your food being gone. When Josh and I were first married we both worked swing shift. Anyway I would pack each of us dinner in tupperware w/ correct utensils. Well one night Josh went to get his dinner and they took everything. He joked that he wasn't upset about the food but was upset that they took my tupperware. After that I sent his dinner in the very inexpensive stuff.

I spent the day at the mechanic's for my van, the doctor's office w/ Rhys, shopping, etc. I am glad the day is over.

I just got back from our week in Vegas. Beth, it was hot, hot, hot. The trip didn't turn out how we thought...my mom ended up in the hospital with chest pains. She is OK and it didn't turn out to be heart issues thank god. She was in all day and overnight. She was glad to be OK but bummed that she lost 2 days of the trip.

We did get to go see Mystere (Cirque du Soliel). My daughter Madison loved it. It is always amazing what those people can do. I would love to see the Michael Jackson show that is going to be put on.

So now Madison is with my mom until school starts. 3 weeks all by my lonesome. It is weird how quiet that house is and will be. I do have alittle fun planned...my friends and I are going on a 4 hour white water rafting trip with class II and III rapids. Has anyone ever done this? I'm a little nervous but think it will be lots of fun.

Well, I better get going. Everyone - make it a great weekend!!!

Hi Jodi! I haven't left yet...14 more hours till we hit the road! I hopeing to get a nap in today so I can survive the drive.

Last night one of my high school best friends came in to town cause another of our friends is having a baby shower today. I had not seen her in over 10 years. All of us cheered togther all through high school. We went out for a night on the town (even Miss Preggers) and I didn't get into bed till 2am. I haven't lasted that long in awhile. It is great chatting with old friends like the time apart doesn't matter...you can pick up right where you left off. That is the sign of a true friend.

Now to get going...finish packing...wrap a baby shower gift...shower the mama...and prep to leave...

I'm so sorry to hear your mom ended up in the hospital! How scary and not the way anyone wants to spend part of their vacation. Glad she's ok now.

Our weather here has actually been below normal if you can believe that! Still hot though, especially if you aren't used to it.

Enjoy your alone time, and have fun on the whitewater rafting trip! Sounds too scary for me!! But then, I'm a big chicken. I'm sure it will be a fun adventure for you.

Jodi - Sorry to hear about your mom. Glad to hear that she is alright. Your whitewater rafting sounds fun.

Forgot to do an update on my health. They still can't figure out the cause of my heart issue but they did double my medicine. The good news about that is I haven't had an episode since they did. I'm hoping it stays that way.

And yes the mechanic was very pricey but in the 6 years we've owned the car this has been the first thing that's caused major maintenance.

I had a lot of energy when I woke up and did a lot of laundry, cooking, and cleaning. But now my energy is gone and I'm ready for a nap.

It's Saturday-- Everyone gets the day off. Time for reading, taking naps, visiting with friends -- The house work can get done another day. Ya I was dreaming, but it was good while it lasted.

Jodi-luvs-disney, So glad you mom is recovering. That would be scarey. Isn't it like mom's to worry about missing part of trip not that they were sick. Sounds so much like my mom.

That is great news Yankee . Glad the Dr is willing to make changes with meds.

If I figured it out correct MrsPinup you are going to leave at 2-3 am? You are a brave woman. I hate driving at night. I actually hate driving any time of day. I get sleepy about 30 mins into driving even if to town. Don't get old this is what happens. Have a wonderful trip. Wish I was going to be there to.

Have a safe drive Jen!! I'd probably be leaving at about the same time. I know I leave here at about 2am (or as close to as I can cut it) and you're about an hour and a half North of me.

Tonight's my last full overnight shift!! Here's hoping it goes well considering we thought we had one more week to train the team who is taking over the first half of what I normally do. And better than today as a whole because I've been down all day.

Just catching up can't do to much my arms are so sun burnt (it hurts when I bend them too much). I catered a party at the beach it was a beautiful day.

To those with health problems having a postivie attitude does wonders. I went thru medical issues about 9 years ago I know having a positive attitude and doing the most my body let me with my kids (i usually had one or two bad days a week)

Can't believe I missed out on the AP sale. That would have been worth the drive to just check out and spend a few hours in the park. I love getting a good deal (even on something I don't need)

Excited for those getting to go to Disneyland have fun trip. I am so trying to plan a Disney trip before my daughter leaves for school. We have been so busy but I plan to make it happen. My son doesn't want to go but I want one more trip.

Jessica-We need someone at my work to steal some lunches. People always bring a lunch and then end up going out and forget to bring their lunches home and then there is never room to put my lunch in the next day.
