Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

Hi girls (I say girls since you all discussed why no guys come around:rotfl2:)

For a few years now I have had weird "feelings" when I would see things that would pertain to the early 1900s to the 1930'. I particularly love watching movies/shows that show parties from that era.

I am now hooked on this station on Live 365 called Absinthe Radio- it is music from the 20s and 30s, they also mention the word "speakeasy"

You know something has to be going on when a person like me who loves black/goth metal can go back and forth from baroque, to 20s/30s music, and back to goth again :scared1: :lmao:

I am starting to get those feelings I felt when I would hear baroque music, (come to find out that I lived during that time period) Now this!?

I do not want to do a past life regression now, b/c I think with me already having the preconceived notion that I may have lived back then, it would "cloud" my thoughts when trying to regress. I am worried I may put things into my own head.

So anyway......yay! I think I remember yet another lifetime!:dance3:

I agree with the low ghost rating. I thought the evp recordings were too noisy. I couldn't make out most of them. :confused3 Hope Donna gets better quickly.

What is wrong with Donna....is she .....SCARED??! LOL!

Crohn's disease. She either said it has been in remission since she was 14, or for 14 yrs. Sounded like she said since she was 14, but I was watching and DIS'ing at the same time

I thought last night was sorta blah on GH. Rob is just too dry for me, no personality at all. He doesn't even show excitement when he thinks he has something. Geez jason and grant still do.

The second part was better than the first. I think they could have spent more time on that one. The castle (or whatever it was) actually was givingme the creeps when they did their tour, not sure why, but I felt really icky when watching it.

Confession time - Rob scares me more than the ghosts do...sometimes he just has this really toooo intense look in his eyes. :scared1:

UGH- How about Brian trying to provoke the ghost at the Opera!??

He is just.....weird......

Still not impressed with GHI. DS11 complains that they call just about every place haunted. :goodvibes He says that Jason would never agree.

Just watched last nights episode of GHI. It was OK. I snorted a little when Rob, Andy and Dustin were using the thermal cam near the stairs and Rob said that this is where a little boy has been seen running up and down. Hello! It was a little girl! :rotfl:

Brian's always been odd IMO. He's a... character. ;)

I give this episode 4 ghosts. I LOVED the second location - that place was downright creepy. Dustin is still the good ghosthunter I remember. I like the Irish guy too - what is his name? Why do I keep forgetting it?

I'll keep watching because the pluses definitely outweight the negatives. The original show is way better though.

I like the Irish guy too...he seems totally into really figuring out what's going on to the point that he's super jumpy.

I watch the show occationally and have had some experiances over the years that started as a child and I have moved several times...so far this last move seems uneventfull the past five years Ive lived there...but the house has been flooded a couple times once about 10 inces and this past april about two feet in the walkout basement...I dont know if that would affect a Ghost or not.

I KNOW! I heard him say that- no one even corrected him. :sad2:

Does anyone watch Psychic Kids w/ Chip Coffey??? That show is not too bad.

I think if one of my nieces or nephews said they saw "something" I would tell my SILs to go with it and ask about what they saw and talk about it.

It is sad that a lot of parents try and make the child feel like what they are seeing is not real, or pass it off as their "imaginary friend"- :guilty:

But the parents on Psychic Kids are not that bad. They just want to help their children learn how to deal with their "gift".

I watch Psychic Kids and I like it. The episode on Monday was very interesting to me in regards to the mother who was Christian and in my opinion would have liked it if Chip could have some how taken her daughter's "gift" away. I felt really bad for that young woman.

I started watching PK when someone here mentioned it . I really like it. I saw the one you're talking about. You could just see how frustraed Chip was getting. The mom said there are no spirits, just angels and demons. At least the girl knows now she's not alone.

I think she may have come around just a little at the end. I did read at the end that they still do not see eye to eye about it- but hopefully the mom will just support her daughter whatever she chooses.

I would think the daughter would end up embracing her Native American heritage b/c of her gift. She would be much more free, without feeling the guilt or being "stifled"

I wonder if her coming around a little had anything to do with the fact that her daughter was seeing her dead grandmother (the mom's mom). According to her if you die, you go to heaven and the only spirits left roaming are evil. Guess that would make her mom evil, huh? :confused3

It may have!

I thought that was pretty freaky the way the kids picked up cancer and flowers!!!

Like you said, that Mom believes that spirits are either angels or demons. She said that IF you do hear from a loved one that has passed that they are really demons pretending to be the loved one. So, maybe she does think her Mom is evil!
