I understand! We are keeping dd9 out of school for a week in October. Halloween falls on a Friday this year...so its food for thought!

We use to do that when my ds was younger but when he got into the later years it was difficult for him to make things up. It's kinda crazy but the teachers would give him his assignments for the week and he usally would get them done before we even got to FW.

You will be the first on the 2009 list. With the upcoming death of the Adventurer's Club, we need to get as many people introduced to the Kungaloosh as possible.

I guess I need to start making Kungaloosh so I can make it in October. This weekend will be the first time maybe, having some of the neighbors over, so I'll give it a try.

Ami, I hope you think about coming down with the kids, would love to meet you. We'll be pulling the kids out for 3 days. They have a Fall break Thurs, Fri, Mon and Tues. They will miss Mon-Wed we come home on Sunday and they will still have 2 more days off. This is the last year for Fall break, I don't know what we'll do after this. I am not a fan of hot summer vacations.

I am sooo looking forward to the Fort on Halloween. So are the kids. They have already started to plan their costumes. They don't change much from year to year, only 1 or 2 changes out of 5. Makes shopping easier.

Right now I have planned the 27, just because of our reservations so far. Of course there can be other meet and greets also. I hope you can make it. Looks like your time line will put you there around the same time. I think someone suggested a pot luck and chairs what ever you can bring along, place to be determined, of course I offered our site, I just don't have a whole lot equipment yet, we are slowly building, and DH isn't going to try to bring the pop-up again.
