Getting a PIN after you pay balance?

We're currently booked at POR with quick service dining for April 26 to May 3 and I'm still secretly hoping we might get a PIN for free dining. I'm debating paying off our balance but wondering what would happen if I did get a pixie dust PIN afterward. Could we get a refund?

Yes. You can choose to just have the difference refunded

PIN codes for that time frame have already expired. The free dining portion only ran through March 5, with the room discount going through September.
