There seem to be a lot of runners here. SHould we arrange a Dis meet up for the CC 5K and add it to our mini navigator?

Thanks for teaching me how to mulitquote!

The two excursions I was waiting on have been posted. Now I just need to decide if I really want that Cabo snorkeling excursion - a bit worried about cold water.

Just saw news coverage of flooding up the DFW area. Hope everyone is safe and that you were spared from the flooding!

My guess is they release X amount for each reservations slot: platinum gets X, Gold Gets Y, Silver gets Z....

At least this Silver Cruiser is hoping :goodvibes

We are looking at the Canopy Zip in Costa Rica, the Natural Pool Jeep Adventure in Aruba and Historic Towns & Tequila-making in PV.

It looks like there is some interest in a meet near the port on the night before. I know last time we used the Breakfast room at the COuntry Inn and Suites for those staying there. If more are staying at the Raddison maybe someone who is staying there can find out if there is an area we can meet. It was just a casual things- some went next door to BUrger King and b
brought back food.

We would love to join any meet- we are 5 minutes from the port.

Is anyone planning any private van tour trips on any of the ports? If so and you need 2 more to share expenses let me know. We did this on the Med cruise and it saved tons of walking and in the long end it was cheaper.

Someone talked about the Tequila making tour. We took it last time- the man that did it at the place was good but there were so many bugs- even in the barrels of the Tequila.

Ok I have some lingering questions. Can anyone help?

1. I seem to have two conflicting port schedules for our cruise...can anyone direct me to the accurate one? (the one on DCL seems to be missing ports)
2. My husband and I are interested in zipline, anyone know which one is best?
3. We have a GTY stateroom. How long until we get an official room?
4. As a silver member, does anyone know the official date we can book ressies?
5. We are also hoping to do 3 days at DL after the cruise. I heard booking restaurants there is on a different time schedule. Anyone know what it is?

Thanks to all of you :) i am getting more and more excited now that it is official we are going. I really didn't think we would be able to after losing my job but we decided we had to take the chance!

Take Care,

Holly

Hi Holly,

1. If you go here, this has all the ports: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/c...aries/15-night-panama-canal-westbound-cruise/

2. As for the zipline, I have heard the ones in Costa Rica are awesome, but for us, our kids are not old enough to do the Costa Rica ziplines, so we are going to do the Zip Line tour in Puerto Vallarta that is being organized through this Disney Board (it's a non-Disney tour). Check out the front page of this board, and you can find out more about it. It looks awesome!! We can't wait.

3. We are also GTY. This is our first time as GTY status, but from what I've heard and read, it's about 30 - 60 days prior to sailing you find out your room.

4. We are also silver... excursion booking for silver begins at midnight on October 8!!! (note, that is Eastern Time midnight, so since I'm on the West coast, I'll start booking at 9 PM on October 7).

5. I can't answer #5, but maybe someoen else can.

Hope this helps!!

Kathy

Hi!
I just finished talking with DCL and mentioned the Harbor Cruise and Lands End Cruise do not appear as a choice when you try to reserve the excursions for Cabo. They said there is a web problem at the moment and it's being worked on. I made a different reservation for Cabo (ATV) and then had to change my Manzanillo excursion to something else since we had the ATV set up for there.

ANYWAYS, DCL took my phone number and said as soon as the "situation" is fixed for Cabo excursions, they would call me and they would change the two excursions back to what I wanted. That's nice. :thumbsup2

Also said transportation to DL from LA port will be available but they can't book it today. (Blocked out of their computer as a choice) One way will be $60.00 to one of the three DL hotels. We couldn't get a DVC room at DL so are staying at the Best Western Anaheim Inn on 1630 S Harbor Blvd. Does anyone know which DL hotel would be the closest to the Best Western so we can get dropped off there and then hoof it to our hotel?

Transportation from DL to LAX will be available but NOT to SNA / John Wayne. We will be leaving from SNA. Anyone have a suggestion for a shuttle from DL to SNA?

Wow :yay: It's getting close and seems real now I've made my excursions and Palos ressies.

Hope the web site works for everyone.
Barb

Barb, What Best Western are you at? Have you looked into the HoJo right across the street from DL. A lot of DISers have stayed there in the past. This will be our 3rd time staying there. Might want to look into it and ask about discounts they accept.

Great idea! My DH and I would meet up for the CC 5K. Although, not sure I'll be able to run it (fingers crossed I will be able to by then!!!), but if I can't, I'll be walking it. :)

we are doing this on pur trans at cruise, a lot of us are meeting. to do it.

Can anyone who is able to book excursions please let me know the times for these:

1. Los Arcos Kayak/Snorkel (Cabo)
2. Outdoor Adventure (PV)
3. Canopy Zipline/Aerial Tram (Puntarenas)

These are the top three that I'm really interested in but I also have non-excursion things planned too, so it would really help if I knew the times. If anyone can look, I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!!

Ok, I'm throwing this out there, thought it might give some an idea that are planning to do both parks before & after the cruise.

DH & I are booked on the free dining package for 5 nights at POP Century before the cruise. I altered the reservation for 1 meal, 1 quick, 1 snack per person (regular at POP is 2 quick & 1 snack per), I also altered the ticket to a 2 day hopper pass. We are going to pay the difference and upgrade our pass to the Premier Passport (covers all of WDW & DL/DCA) (long time WDW AP holders). I then booked the HoJo in Anaheim and got a 20% AP discount on room.

Knowing that we will probably be taking another trip to the parks in the same year, for just a couple of hundred more, I'm covered for both parks for 1 year.:wizard:

If you want more details just pm me...not fond of putting dollar amounts in posts

You don't have to worry about me taken them, don't like the Brunch and not into Tea.
I could book both for you and trade you for another dinner!!

That is a great offer. Only one problem. Right now I need to see about getting my whole party into Brunch. That's a party of 10. Still if it were possible, I wonder how it would work?

You shouldn't have to worry. You're Gold, right? All three times are still available for Brunch on the first 2 sea days (actually all sea days). The only sea day unavailable for High Tea is Day 11 (day before Manzanillo).

I'm just not sure if you will be able to get a reservation for 10 unless all of your are Gold?

Thank you so much! Can you please also tell me again what are the departure/return times for the private PV canopy tour you have arranged for us? I looked in Post #1 but I didnt see the times there or the number to call, unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Just looked my AAA invoice and the transfers are $65 per person and that is from BCV-PC- Ship in LA to GCV. Have ot check Ohana with DVC as we have a ressie on Jan 3rd at 715pm. Whatch out for Cabo as we did not make it on our last cruise there as it is a tender port and it was too rocks for the tender. It was mid Oct.
