Okay so we are PIF, and booked excursions/Palo last night:

Aruba - Sailing & Snorkeling
Costa Rica - Coffee Picking Adventure
Manzanillo - Countryside ATV Adventure
Puerto Vallarta - Dolphin Trainer for a Day
Cabo - Beach Buggy & Swim

DW was also booked in for two hot stone massages @ the Vista and we got Palo brunch and dinner.

The only oddity I found was that the Dolphin Trainer for a Day actually showed up on the reservation page as "Dolphin Swim". Other than that everything worked great and we got everything we wanted.

Now I'm putting this out of my head and focusing on the WBTA that we're going on next week. :scared1:

I wish you smooth sailing on the WBTA next week. I saw something else today that looked like a description for another trip - pirate ship in Cabo maybe under a sailing adventure. We had wanted to do the Chileno Bay Snorkeling in Cabo and the Historic Towns and Tequila Making in PV but neither even show up. I did notice this morning that there were a few excursions that showed but also said there was no availability so maybe the ones I am looking for will not be offered for our crossing cruise. :sad1:

I did get brunch for Sunday as well as the DePalm helmet diving in Aruba and the Costa Rica Favorite.

DH and I will hopefully find a deal at CIS, and will be staying at port on the 5th and would love to do a meet-up. 8:00PM is fine with us, we are night owls anyway.
I hope the tequila making in PV comes up when gold members are able to book, that is something I am really interested in as I have never actually had tequila before (that I know of). I guess we will see on the 23rd.
Happy PIF day for everyone doing so today!

It was the note that there is a 1 mile walk that killed it for me. I have no idea how hot it's going to be and I don't feel like getting all nasty and sweaty by going on a hike, especially after I've been drinking tequila. :rotfl:

Lol.....that sounds like a skit on Corner Gas

You don't live in Rouleau, do you?

Glad you caught it in time!

Well...we don't live in Rouleau...but it's very similar to Dog River here:lmao:.

We live on a farm and get our mail to a PO Box in the nearest town. Disney will not send documents to a PO Box, they want my street address. NE 34 27 25 W2 seems to confuse :confused:them so I give them the address of my Uncles accounting business in town.

The documents always arrive, in a timely fashion, to the local GARAGE!!!

Pretty Corner Gassy huh?!?!

I am betting that the Bridge that went out in PV last week has altered some of the excusions Disney can offer for the time being. I think the bridge is between the port and the tequila tasting, and anything related to Banderas Bay.

Hmmmmmmm.

Can some one instruct me as to how you can put quotes from different posts in one message?!:sad2:

Got the Palo Brunch & Dinner I wanted & shore excursions last night, but could not get Castaway Cay until this morning. It was frustrating to say the least last night. Kept getting kicked out and saying "wait 20 minutes"! Have things now, but might make some changes, but at least I think Ryan will like things because he is parasailing and doing the zipline!:surfweb: It was never this difficult on previous cruises!!:confused3

In the bottom right hand of any message are three boxes. One says quote, the next one is quotation marks and then a quill and paper. Click on the quotation marks of any message you want to multiquote, After you have selected all of them click on post reply.

Lol, we had the same issue here...Canada Post decided to change our mailing address to be our civic address, without telling us just before Xmas...so almost all of our Xmas mail was sent back to sender....so our civic address is ottawa, but our 'postal box' is in kinburn...painful

Liam and I were on Canada AM for the last Corner Gas Episode, and are on the season 6 DVD as part of the 'it's been a gas' special.....so you can guess we are huge fans.....should bring my dog river hockey jersey on the trip....

Hoping the weather in Jan lets us get down to Orlando without too much hassle...

When are you heading down?

Hit the Quote+ button for each item you want to use and then the reply button when you are ready to answer. Hope this helps.:surfweb:

Nope, not the only one up late.

I have been looking into whale watching in Cabo on my own. Anybody else looking to do whale watching?

So hope you find your doggies! Good luck :)

Yes, I think we are doing whale watching in Cabo on our own. Dh found a place online that he liked, just need to check on it myself and make sure the times work and everything.

We want to do whale watching in Cabo - can't decide if we are going through Disney or on our own. If you have found anything - let me know!

Thanks!

We got on the Disney one, but my TA recommended several others - pez being one of them.

That makes a lot of sense.

I'd love to meet up. We usually just drive to the port the morning off but because we don't know what is goinng on with the Dream, we decided to stay the night before at the Radisson. We probably won't be there until around 8pm on the 5th though. We could either join the meet when we get there or perhaps have a breakfast meet? I'm usually not a early riser but I know I will be on the 6th!

I would be up for something, were at raddison by port for 2 nights.

We're likely at the Radisson also.

Ok I have some lingering questions. Can anyone help?

1. I seem to have two conflicting port schedules for our cruise...can anyone direct me to the accurate one? (the one on DCL seems to be missing ports)
2. My husband and I are interested in zipline, anyone know which one is best?
3. We have a GTY stateroom. How long until we get an official room?
4. As a silver member, does anyone know the official date we can book ressies?
5. We are also hoping to do 3 days at DL after the cruise. I heard booking restaurants there is on a different time schedule. Anyone know what it is?

Thanks to all of you :) i am getting more and more excited now that it is official we are going. I really didn't think we would be able to after losing my job but we decided we had to take the chance!

Take Care,

Holly

Ryan will like things because he is parasailing and doing the zipline

What time did you schedule the parasail for? I booked DH on the last one 3:30-4:30. Hoping he has a great view of all 3 Disney ships at that time! :wizard:

Gty are abou 45 prior to sail date. I think dl ressies are 60 days out.

PIF has a new meaning today, I was paid in full. Pulled the plug on this cruise, hope all of you have fun. Guess I better change my signature.

So sorry to hear this, I hope you at least flipped part of it to another reservation.

PIF here as well. 6032 - Cat 5C. Will be booking excursions tonight.

Hi Stuart, Looking forward to seeing Melissa & You again! btw..Walt & I changed to late dining.

I've actually gone and woken up my I-tech son to have him find one more way to try! Yes, I'm a great Mother that wakes her kid up for computer assistance!
Barb

Barb, You are not alone, I use to do this all the time. Unfortunately, I can't do this now...I have been able to call him at midnight (it's only 10pm in Texas) and ask stupid questions. Hoping he can join us in DL after the cruise! I'm a Proud ARMY Mom!

Yes, two of my party are. We couldn't get the Disney excursion to "take" on the stupid web site. Have you found any information about doing it privately?

Happy day, all!

I pm'd you

Thanks for asking this question, I didn't know how to do this either.

We want to do whale watching in Cabo - can't decide if we are going through Disney or on our own. If you have found anything - let me know!

Sending pm!

Holly, Though we are not doing this zipline, we have done it before. The one that the DIS group has arranged privately is AWESOME!! Check the front page.

Hi!
I just finished talking with DCL and mentioned the Harbor Cruise and Lands End Cruise do not appear as a choice when you try to reserve the excursions for Cabo. They said there is a web problem at the moment and it's being worked on. I made a different reservation for Cabo (ATV) and then had to change my Manzanillo excursion to something else since we had the ATV set up for there.

ANYWAYS, DCL took my phone number and said as soon as the "situation" is fixed for Cabo excursions, they would call me and they would change the two excursions back to what I wanted. That's nice. :thumbsup2

Also said transportation to DL from LA port will be available but they can't book it today. (Blocked out of their computer as a choice) One way will be $60.00 to one of the three DL hotels. We couldn't get a DVC room at DL so are staying at the Best Western Anaheim Inn on 1630 S Harbor Blvd. Does anyone know which DL hotel would be the closest to the Best Western so we can get dropped off there and then hoof it to our hotel?

Transportation from DL to LAX will be available but NOT to SNA / John Wayne. We will be leaving from SNA. Anyone have a suggestion for a shuttle from DL to SNA?

Wow :yay: It's getting close and seems real now I've made my excursions and Palos ressies.

Hope the web site works for everyone.
Barb

Is that $60 per person or for 2 people? I thought someone said it was $30 but just checking. We haven't decided how we are getting to DL yet.

We are staying at GC and flying out fo LAX so I can't help with any of your questions, sorry.

We're getting Hertz to pick us up with an SUV at the port and then I'll be driving down to Santa Ana and staying at the Embassy Suites by SNA airport and then flying out the next morning.
