You shouldn't have to worry. You're Gold, right? All three times are still available for Brunch on the first 2 sea days (actually all sea days). The only sea day unavailable for High Tea is Day 11 (day before Manzanillo).

I'm just not sure if you will be able to get a reservation for 10 unless all of your are Gold?

Good to know. Thanks. We are all linked. My experience with linked reservations is, for example, on the 10/17/09 sailing my wife and I are gold. Mon is silver. The system let me book my mom with us for tea and brunch.

Just looked my AAA invoice and the transfers are $65 per person and that is from BCV-PC- Ship in LA to GCV. Have ot check Ohana with DVC as we have a ressie on Jan 3rd at 715pm. Whatch out for Cabo as we did not make it on our last cruise there as it is a tender port and it was too rocks for the tender. It was mid Oct.

I wouldn't worry about you 'Ohana. If it were to be closed they would have contacted all of us. It is not like they don't have our email and phone numbers.

Thank you so much! Can you please also tell me again what are the departure/return times for the private PV canopy tour you have arranged for us? I looked in Post #1 but I didnt see the times there or the number to call, unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

You welcome. It is 9:15am -2:30pm. Here is the post with the private PV canopy info http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=38039571&postcount=1464

LindaBabe,
Can you please move the "UPDATED http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=38039571&postcount=1464" in the first post under the canopy tour info. It looks like it was not moved when you re-arranged the first post. Thanks!

Hello all,
I am very sad to say we have cancelled this cruise. We have had so much happen in the past few months (that's why I haven't been posting lately) we have no other choice but to cancel our dream cruise through the canal.:sad2:

It was great chatting with you all this past year, and I hope we will be able to meet some of you in the future.

Have a great cruise, we will be thinking of you all!

Hi All,
I FINALLY get to join you in the PIF dance...I can hear the Hallelujah Chorus!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::banana::banana::banana:

Thanks, Shushh - I guess I'll check with our TA as to what she suggests for documents. With all the normal pre-Christmas snail mail, I'm concerned with them not arriving in time.

Everyone else - sounds like excursion booking is not much fun..... I really don't think there'll be much left for us come late October. Time will tell, I guess.

Have a great day all, I'm off to catch some much needed zzzzzs.

Cheers,
Sally :)

This is the first time I will be able to book early (gold) and we have never had a problem (knock on wood). Yes, we have been unable to book things before we left, but they were always available once on the ship. This is especially true of Palo. I hope that will still be the case...:goodvibes
Ok I have some lingering questions. Can anyone help?

1. I seem to have two conflicting port schedules for our cruise...can anyone direct me to the accurate one? (the one on DCL seems to be missing ports)
2. My husband and I are interested in zipline, anyone know which one is best?
3. We have a GTY stateroom. How long until we get an official room?
4. As a silver member, does anyone know the official date we can book ressies?
5. We are also hoping to do 3 days at DL after the cruise. I heard booking restaurants there is on a different time schedule. Anyone know what it is?

Thanks to all of you :) i am getting more and more excited now that it is official we are going. I really didn't think we would be able to after losing my job but we decided we had to take the chance!

Take Care,

Holly
Looks like you got these answered already, but I received some new info from DCL last night to #3 that may help...They usually assign 50-75 days out. Right now Cat 11B is completely booked but 11A has spots and there are a ton in 10 and 9...don't know if that affects you, but it was good for me to know since we are an 11B GTY.
Hi!
I just finished talking with DCL and mentioned the Harbor Cruise and Lands End Cruise do not appear as a choice when you try to reserve the excursions for Cabo. They said there is a web problem at the moment and it's being worked on. I made a different reservation for Cabo (ATV) and then had to change my Manzanillo excursion to something else since we had the ATV set up for there.

ANYWAYS, DCL took my phone number and said as soon as the "situation" is fixed for Cabo excursions, they would call me and they would change the two excursions back to what I wanted. That's nice. :thumbsup2

Also said transportation to DL from LA port will be available but they can't book it today. (Blocked out of their computer as a choice) One way will be $60.00 to one of the three DL hotels. We couldn't get a DVC room at DL so are staying at the Best Western Anaheim Inn on 1630 S Harbor Blvd. Does anyone know which DL hotel would be the closest to the Best Western so we can get dropped off there and then hoof it to our hotel?

Transportation from DL to LAX will be available but NOT to SNA / John Wayne. We will be leaving from SNA. Anyone have a suggestion for a shuttle from DL to SNA?

Wow :yay: It's getting close and seems real now I've made my excursions and Palos ressies.

Hope the web site works for everyone.
Barb
Can't help you with the shuttle info, but if your hotel is on S. Harbor, the only Disney resort near there is Paradise Pier Hotel (also on Harbor, south of D-land)
Can anyone who is able to book excursions please let me know the times for these:

1. Los Arcos Kayak/Snorkel (Cabo)
2. Outdoor Adventure (PV)
3. Canopy Zipline/Aerial Tram (Puntarenas)

These are the top three that I'm really interested in but I also have non-excursion things planned too, so it would really help if I knew the times. If anyone can look, I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!!
Ditto to 2 and 3!!

1. 11:30 AM to 2:45 PM
2. 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
3. 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM

Whoops, thanks for that info, I guess I jumped the gun when multiquoting:goodvibes--Can I assume these are both still available (one start time means one group--eeek)??

Lynne, who is the new addition to your signature? That is one CUTE puppy!!!

Let me know when and where you want to meet for the CC 5K and I will add it to the program

Everyone stay safe out there in this crazy weather!

~Melissa

i am surprised that Disney is not offering this package. I called the cruise line today and was told to call DL. I called DL and they said to call DCL- What a mess. I finally got some quotes from her for Paradise Pier and when it came to transfers from the ship to hotel and then hotel to Lax she said I would have to call Supper Shuttle. Is anyone else going through this?>

As far a pre cruise meet near the port Fish Lips Restaurant was mentioned. That is ok but how are people going to get there from the hotels?. I know that some offer a shuttle to the port restaurants.

We booked PPH through DL, then called DCL and were given transfers from port to PPH for $30/p. I had to ask DCL CM to double check for transfers, at first she could only find transfers from port to LAX, but she checked with supervisor and told me transfers would be provided from port to PPH,DLH and GC after PC cruise.

Candy and Scubadiver - sorry to see you both have to pull out :( I hope that things are OK, and that there are other cruises in the future. :goodvibes

Melissa - thanks for that info. about booking early. There's only a couple of excursions on my "must do" list, so appendages crossed !

Robin - excuse my ignorance, but is that Yiddish ? What are you celebrating ?

I'm adding more and more to the "paid off" list - booked and paid for our LAX to MCO flights.

Is anyone else interested in joining us for a transfer from WDW (BW) to PC on the morning of the cruise ?

Enjoy your evening everyone (or afternoon, or day).

I'm only working 2 hours this afternoon, so must get stuck into the housework - yuck !

Cheers,
Sally :)

Is that $60 per person or for 2 people? I thought someone said it was $30 but just checking. We haven't decided how we are getting to DL yet.

We are staying at GC and flying out fo LAX so I can't help with any of your questions, sorry.

$60 per person is high. I'm staying at Candy Cane Inn and booking some kind of private shuttle. Several are mentioned on the Disboard Disneyland board - a TERRIFIC reference resource, btw.

It looks like there is some interest in a meet near the port on the night before. I know last time we used the Breakfast room at the COuntry Inn and Suites for those staying there. If more are staying at the Raddison maybe someone who is staying there can find out if there is an area we can meet. It was just a casual things- some went next door to BUrger King and brought back food.

. . .
Someone talked about the Tequila making tour. We took it last time- the man that did it at the place was good but there were so many bugs- even in the barrels of the Tequila.

There is a pool bar and lots of seating around the pool at the Radisson - we held the DIS meet there before the 2008 5 night double dip.

Of course there are bugs in the tequila - isn't the really good stuff supposed to have a worm in the bottle?

good idea.

is there a bar in the raddsion or we can go to fish lips:thumbsup2

We're going to Fish lips for dinner - I may have room for you two in the van, if I have 3rd row seating.

That is a great offer. Only one problem. Right now I need to see about getting my whole party into Brunch. That's a party of 10. Still if it were possible, I wonder how it would work?

couldn't you just each room book a table? I was able to book for both rooms of our ressie.

You welcome. It is 9:15am -2:30pm. Here is the post with the private PV canopy info http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=38039571&postcount=1464

Done - you are absolutely right - that's what happened! Thank YOU for pointing it out.

That's so cute! Did you make that?

yes. I'm getting a private shuttle - there's a list on the Disneyland board.

As far a pre cruise meet near the port Fish Lips Restaurant was mentioned. That is ok but how are people going to get there from the hotels?. I know that some offer a shuttle to the port restaurants.

Fish Lips can be crowded. We're driving there for dinner, but we might be better off meeting in a public (no pay) space, ykwim?

So sorry for the families dropping out - we had to do that on the Western repo - it's a sad day.

I'm adding more and more to the "paid off" list - booked and paid for our LAX to MCO flights.

I also have that "paid off" check list

We're staying at POP Century and was hoping to link with someone else to the port.

Just as a FYI, our TA said that the shuttles were through Super Shuttle

We used them last PC Repo to LAX and they sure pack a few people in....can we say sardines

What time did you schedule the parasail for? I booked DH on the last one 3:30-4:30. Hoping he has a great view of all 3 Disney ships at that time! :wizard:

Ryan is parasailing at 10:00. Enlighten me about "all 3 Disney ships":confused3

Is that $60 per person or for 2 people? I thought someone said it was $30 but just checking. We haven't decided how we are getting to DL yet.

We paid $30.00 per person for transportation from port to Disney Paradise Pier in Disneyland.
DCL told me it was $60 per person from the LA port to DL
Barb
Maybe this was during a computer problem!!:surfweb:

If we are voting, I like the idea of a meet at the Radisson (or some other hotel). We will have room for 3 if anyone needs a ride.
