OK I'm now confused ....

I'm a semi-local AP holder who has never stayed onsite. I finally decided to use my Disney Travel Agent perk as well and book a Room at Pop Century for an upcoming trip.

With that said ... how will FP+ work for me now? Will I get to book my FP's 60 days out since I'm staying onsite or will my AP rules over ride that and only allow me to book 30 days out?

I'm at 61 days out right now so I want to be sure that I'm ready for the online rope drop tonight at 12:01am :rolleyes1 if that scenario applies to me, and if not ... then I guess I'll have 30 more days to think about it!!

Thanks

1. 60 days, yes.

2. Nope.

3. Just a note. There have been several nights lately when the FP+ window did not open until 1:01AM EDT.
So, if the reservations are still locked a bit after midnight(EDT,) you might want to stay up for another hour.

From the 'MyMagic+ for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders' page:
If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in. Plus, you may hold FastPass+ selections for up to 7 days or the length of your hotel stay—whichever is greater!

After you use all of the initial FastPass+ experiences on the day of your visit (or your arrival windows have passed), you can select one additional FastPass+ experience to use that same day (based on availability). The additional FastPass+ experience is a rolling FastPass+ experience—each time you use an additional FastPass+ experience, you can select a new one.

Additional FastPass+ selections must be made at a FastPass+ kiosk within the same park as the FastPass+ experience that you wish to select, and they can be made at a different park from your previous selections.

Can you tell me how it worked for you? We are coming up on our first trip with AP's and the ability to book FP+ so I'm getting nervous too.

When I log into MDE, both resort stays show up as do our APs. When I go to the FP+ section, the next 30days are in blue. After that nothing but grey dates. Our day to start making them is July 15th. Will it automatically update and turn blue for our dates so I can click on them and make the selections?

It should automatically update for you at day 60. We have AP's and a resort stay coming up. I was able to make my FP selections three weeks ago on day 60. :goodvibes

Thank you so much! I have been so worried. Before AP's when I would log into MDE it would give me dates to start making selections and now that doesn't show so I was having visions of it being stuck at 30 days, lol.

I was on the phone with a CM this morning about a different issue and asked about the FP selections and she said, "well it is still in testing and the website is also going through enhancements so there are quite a few glitches right now". I was like oh that just boosted my anxiety level about all this!

Keeping my fingers crossed...
