First time at OKW...THINGS I NEED TO KNOW??

I've used the DTD boat from the westside over to Rainforest, but not to the resorts. I enjoy the boats at Disney.
The friendship boats are my favorites though.

Someone said the path to DTD from OKW would be about 1 1/2 miles. That might be a bit of an add on for the rest of my group with all the other walking...depending on the weather. With comfy weather, might be nice.

We've walked it many times - it probably is that far.

If you rent a pontoon (or other boat) you can cruise over to DD or resort to look around. Just to clarify, if you want to take the WDW/OKW boat to DD, it only stops at SSR/OKW and DD. That would be a good way if you want to look around SSR. There is also a walking path to SSR (part of the path that goes to DD from OKW). SSR has a nice food court and it might be a nice change to walk over there; it's not as far as DD.
From DD, you can take a boat to Port Orleans resorts, but you would have a boat or bus back to DD to get back to OKW.
