"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Gorgeous pictures! Thanks for sharing! That loft looks so cozy and inviting! You are doing a GREAT job with it all!!!:goodvibes So, do you still miss your kids or do you feel like they never left:confused3 :rotfl: :goodvibes

Wow, you've done an amazing job with your new home - it's gorgeous!! :thumbsup2 I love the pretty chaise longue!

I'm glad you all had a great time at BD - it really is amazing the impact a good (or bad) server can have on a restaurant experience, isn't it?! I LOVE how housekeeping keeps messing with the stuffies - I must remember to bring a few of them on our trip. Perhaps they will be rearranged too LOL

Looking forward to the next entertaining episode :goodvibes

PS: Any word yet on which MasterPark lot? Thanks :cheer2:

Should we ask for Josh when we check in at Brown Derby? Is it possible to request a specific server?

BEAUTIFUL!!! I wish my house looked like that!

Thank you! :goodvibes

Gorgeous house! :goodvibes I like lofts. I'd like to live somewhere with a loft at some point in the distant future. :rotfl:

It's not really a loft, but we don't know what else to call the area, so that title stuck. :confused3

Your house looks great! I love the shots of red. The B&B was a terrific surprise! It was a belated 15 year anniversary getaway and it was just what the doctor ordered. It was beautiful, quiet and romantic. We actually talked about things OTHER than the kids (can you imagine?). Saugatuck,MI (where the Park House is located) is quaint and perfect for strolling around. I felt much more *ahem* romantic than I have in quite a while, so my DH is quite motivated to plan more of these little trips.;)

Next year is our 15th, perhaps I should suggest a B & B to DH, he would appreciate more *ahem* romance. ;)

Well Daisy was only home for half a day and then left again for two nights for a friends birthday, she'll be back this evening. I am glad the boys are home!

Your house is so beautiful!!

Thank you.:cloud9:

I love the chaise lounge area a lot.

Parking Lot B. I had asked DH before and then promptly forgot, so I just sent Joey out to ask him.:thumbsup2

You have such a beautiful house!

Thanks :)

::yes:: I would ask when you check in, it can't hurt.

Your new home is absolutely beautiful.

Thank you, it's starting to feel like home. :laundy:

Beautiful! Right off of HGTV, lol.
:lmao: More like right out of IKEA.

I love the floor in your great room and dining room!

I love your wicker furniture!

Thanks, I like it too. :cutie:

What a beautiful house! I especially love the kitchen and patio areas! Just lovely!

The kitchen I wasn't sure about. I mean glass front cabinets? But it turned out so nice, I'm glad we went with it.

I love the floor in your great room and dining room!

We love it too, but it has been a struggle to figure out how to keep it clean. I think I've finally got a handle on it, but I'm not sure.

thanks for sharing your home with us! You need alot of furniture! :rotfl2: It is really shaping up beautifully! I want to read a book on that lounger in the loft!

We loved the Brown Derby - I'm sad that it's "Signature Dining" for the DDP. I think we are sticking to regular TS this next trip. We are going to do a "resort hopper" dining trip - who knows March is a long way off, I may change my mind - there are so many good places to eat in the parks! :thumbsup2

Love the plaid chaise in your bedroom sitting area! Now you are down to the part that always drives me nuts--window treatments and stuff for the walls.

If it's not a loft, is it maybe a nook? Too big for a nook?

Was the handle the keeping kids off of it for a week? :lmao:
(J/k!)

But seriously, it looks great!

A resort hopper dining trip would be fun. That is one thing for sure that Disney World beats Disneyland at, and that is the dining!:cloud9:

To big for a nook. The seating area in our bedroom could be called a nook though.:rotfl:

Sort of. :lmao: No I switched from the Swiffer Wet Jet that sprays the cleaner on the floor to the Swiffer wet duster. It's working sort of for now.

So last night DH and I were talking about our anniversary coming up in a month and neither of us had any idea what we wanted to do. :confused3

I then said "What about next year? Fifteen is kind of a big number."

DH "Fifteen is a big number."

I nodded

DH "If we did Disney would we have to take the kids?"

"No." I said.

That's all, but it's enough to send me into smallish planning mode. :lmao:

I'm currently dreaming of which resort for the two of us. I was thinking deluxe, but then I realized my main reason for deluxe over moderate is the bed size, but if it's just the two of us we could get a king at a moderate. So to get to the point of what I need help with, finally, which moderate would you recommend for an anniversary trip. We've stayed at CSR and I want to try some place else just because there are so many choices.

Here's my thinking so far

Port Orleans- either side looks beautiful though I think I would like to try New Orleans.

Old Key West- bigger rooms, good "We could stay here DVC" reminder.

Caribbean Beach- I think I'd prefer a with kids trip here because of the new pirate pool area.

or we could do The Swan since I can get the teacher's rate that makes it a moderate price, but then no dining plan. That is a big draw back.

Ok give me your thoughts, and opinions.

The POFQ and POR both look amazing. So I would go with either of these resorts.

If you choose the Swan and use your teacher discount, you'll be able to stay at a deluxe for much less money. I do agree that no dining is a drawback. Also remember no Magical Express.
