"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Great update Michelle! The Brown Derby looks incredible!:thumbsup2 Yours is the 3rd report I have read where the kids are with grandparents! SIGN ME UP!!! I could use a little getaway!:rotfl: :goodvibes

:rotfl:

Alone time is good, but I know what you mean about missing the kids when they are gone -- I miss mine when they go somewhere to spend the night  . When are they coming home?

They will be home Friday, so just one more night.

Aww!! It is hard to let your kiddos go. I say take this time to do something really great for yourself. Mani/Pedi perhaps? Maybe a masage. Something relaxing....Don't worry, they will be home soon!:woohoo:

Well I did take a nap yesterday. :lmao:

I know when my kids are away I love the break, but I definitely miss them. I'm happy they are coming home today! :goodvibes

Yea that the kids are back! My husband surprised me with a stay at a B&B yesterday. We got back today, late afternoon, and I didn't really miss the kids until we were on the way home, and then I wanted to see them RIGHT NOW! It was my first night away from my 3 year old. I bet your kids were just as excited and happy to be home and see you as you were to see them.:grouphug:

I didn't know they were gone...:confused3 Of course I really haven't been around either.

I am completely caught up on the TR now. Thanks for the links. They really helped out.

After the Epcot Feet Hurting Day, it seems like you had some good mojo. I could've told you to avoid the Backlot Tour--a waste of valuable touring time. I feel the same about Sci-Fi. I'll go there with first timers because of the atmosphere. the food is average. I really like the Brown Derby and have had good service and food there every time.

I remember reading about your DVC tour. Here's to hoping you can take the plunge at some point.

How was the B & B? We haven't stayed at one since our honeymoon 14 years ago. I would love to visit one again.

I'm glad you are caught up. I probably wouldn't have believed you. :rotfl: I think we are going to go back to Universal for a day in December. Then we will get to go on a real backlot tour.

Yummy food pictures! The filet mignon looks delicious. Josh sounds awesome. It's such a great experience when you have a server like that! :)

The filet mignon was totally delicious!!! It is rather amazing how much difference a server can make on a meal.

Your house looks great! I love the shots of red. The B&B was a terrific surprise! It was a belated 15 year anniversary getaway and it was just what the doctor ordered. It was beautiful, quiet and romantic. We actually talked about things OTHER than the kids (can you imagine?). Saugatuck,MI (where the Park House is located) is quaint and perfect for strolling around. I felt much more *ahem* romantic than I have in quite a while, so my DH is quite motivated to plan more of these little trips.;)
