February 10th 2013 ~ 4 Night Dreamy Dream Cruise!

We will be staying someplace the night before, because we fly in on the 9th but we will not get into the airport until 6pm.
We have not booked a hotel yet because we are unsure if we are going to use disney transportation from the arport (in which case we will have to stay near airport to catch it the next morning) or if we will be renting a car (more likely.) then stay near the port someplace where they have a (park the car in the parking lot while you cruise type thingy.)

So most likely it won't work out for us, but would have been fun!

If you do stay near the port and would want to meet up let me know. We live near the port and are pretty flexible.

We will be flying in at 6pm. We need to find our rental car, and we plan on stopping at a Walgreens or elsewhere for sure, to stock up on water and breakfast foods for our post cruise stay. We are leaving those supplies in our rental car while cruising so we can hop off the boat asap the last day and head stright to the parks. We are going to try to get our kids to bed at 8pm that night, which I guess would be 9pm there with the time change. We don't know where we are staying yet.. but I think we decided to rent a car for sure, so it makes sense that we will stay near the port possibly, so that we can possibly do the stay and park thing some hotels offer nearby. Once I have a clue where we will be staying I can let you know! We may end up staying near the airport, it all depends on prices/rental car, parking and stuff.

We told the kids last night! I couldn't stand it anylonger. I was spending time away from them planning things on the computer and relized it was no fun leaving them out of the plans. It was becoming depressing to me to not be able to share the excitement with them. I will never again underestimate the Joy of Antisipation, vs. the Surprise. We did surpise them earlier last week with a short out of town trip and they were excited. But I think looking forward to it a couple days ahead would have been more fun. Not to mention how hard it was to pack when they were not looking, and we were only going to be gone for one night for that little trip.

We have three kids, 3, 5, and 7 so we got three gift bags. In one bag there was the DCL planning DVD. (which wouldn't tip them off much because we have gotten park planning DVD's in the past without traveling.) The next bag had three pirate T-shirts I made them for Pirates night. (Again wouldn't tip them off too much, and they really liked the shirts.)

The last bag had a Mickey Mouse Wall Calendar we got at Sam's Club. I had written in our travel plans on the February Month. It took them a while to find them. But once they figured it all out, it was pandamonium around here.

:hyper::hyper::yay::cool1::dance3::woohoo::banana::worship::thumbsup2

Not kidding a whole 40 plus minutes of jumping, dancing screaming, singing, thanking, freaking out. We put in the DCL planning DVD to give them a glimpse at what they were going to experience. I may as well put on static, they were too excited to watch a second of it. Too busy jumping, runnning, screaming. It was great fun. We didn't expect them to be THAT excited. Excited, yes, but not uncontrolable crazyness for over 40 minutes. It was great! The only thing that stopped it was bedtime, and the fact they return to school for their frist day after break.

The last time we did Disney my Daughter Turned 4 at Magic Kingdom, now she is seven, and honestly has not stopped talking about Disney World since.

Now I am pumped and ready to let the kids help make magnets to decorate our stateroom door. I have a few ideas ready to roll with our kids favortie green colored character. And I can get their matching park outfits made and actually get to try them on them for fit as I make them. So that makes me happy too. It really was a good thing to tell them... so I say now. Ask me again in a few days when they are tired of waiting.

37 days and definitely counting down!!

:confused3Don't you dare apologize!!!!!!! Without you my husband may never, ever, ever, ever, ever have agreed to go on a cruise!!!!!!;)I am absolutely estatic that we will be able to spend some tome together on this vacation:banana:It is going to be Fabulous!!!!!!:hyper:I am having alot of fun planning, posting, and texting, even though Gary is looking at me like I am CRAZY:crazy2:!!!!

HA! I have it bad too. We were lucky and booked in November so I hear you about those who wait a year. CRAZY!

My two older kids went back to school on Thursday and do you know what I did that day?? (Ok I did pick up the house a bit.) But a good chunck of time on Thursday was spent designing magnets for our stateroom door.

Then on Friday I tie dyed three Mickey Head shirts.

I already made pirates and incredibles shirts for my crew.. And I still need to work on the star wars, and possibly a toy story set of shirts. (we are headed to Disney World for three days post crusie. Not to mention I am making matching bandana pants for each set of shirts too.

We made Star Wars rocks to hand out at Hollywood Studios to cast members and anyone else we want to that day.

I have not signed up for FE... I think mainly because I don't know how it works totally. I know about hangy thing, and you buy gifts, but how many gifts are we talking? Do you buy for the same family the whole trip? Or are you assigned one day? How do you know how much to buy? Are we talking like 40 little gifts? Or like 5. I guess this is the info I am confussed about. I was not sure I wanted to do FE, and my husband is not so sure about accumulating stuff we really don't need. But I guess I just NEED to know what you are all doing. :) I will try to do a bit more research.

Hello All....The cruise is getting closer and for those of you still wishing to sign up for the FE Group you can do so by going to post # 33......When the FE group officially closes on January 15th, I will start putting together a detailed map of the ship with cabin #'s and names listed.

I still have one cabin with a GTY so if KLINGER can send me there cabin # as soon as they get it, it would be much appreciated.

Any questions PM me....thx
