That title really wasn't the best way to word what I'm looking for but it's a start. I'm planning a trip with two of my girlfriends and dining will, obviously, be a very important part. I'm trying to think of some good and preferably fun restaurants to choose from; food being the most important criteria but atmosphere coming a very close second.

We're not anti-kids, and not anti-character (we're having breakfast at Crystal Palace one day) but I'm looking for some other kinds of experiences. And a good restaurant with good food is always on the list.

I need to have a list of a few possibilities so my friends can help me narrow it down from there. Here's what I have so far:
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
Raglan Road
50s PrimeTime Cafe
The Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea
Fulton's Crab House

Chef Mickey's, Ohanas, Liberty Tree Tavern and Whispering Canyon Cafe are on my "maybe" list but I hesitate because I wonder if a group of adults would have as good a time there as families would. I'd be interested in hearing your experiences.

Note: We don't want any of the higher-priced ones (2 TS ones for example). It's not really in the budget for any of us, except for maybe one splurge night.

Thanks in advance!

How about Spoodles? We like the food there as well as the atmosphere, and the platter that they serve with the dips/breads is fun to share with a group of girls.

I think Ohanas would be nice for you all especially if you have a reservation coinciding with viewing Wishes. The view is great! Enjoy! :teeth:

I booked 'Ohana. it gets mixed reviews but what restaurant does everyone agree on? It really sounds like a good fun time to me! your list so far looks great, a lot of my favorites. also, teh GF cafe is very very yummy!

Spoodles is a favorite of mine, but I think all 3 of us have eaten there before and we're looking to try some new ones.

I'll put Ohanas on the list of possibilities.

Le Cellier is really great esp. for just 1 credit. The food is wonderful!
For atmosphere you can't beat 50's PTC, the themeing is great and the food is very good. I am sure your group would have a blast, after all where else is the dessert menu on a view master? Happy planning and have a great trip!

I went with two friends in May and we had a nice dinner at Spoodles, although you mention you already been there. We had a nice breakfast with mimosa's at the Grand Floridian Cafe but if your on DDP than I don't think you can use it for Breakfast. Maybe Lunch or Dinner. The GF is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed just walking around and the staircase.

Loved Spoodles. Do not do Liberty Tree for only adults. It is loud and you tend to be rushed.

Boma and 'Ohana would fit the criteria. Oh, Rose and Crown maybe too.

I went with a colleague to Boma and we had a wonderful time. We tried everything and enjoyed the wine flight as well. AKL is so unique I love just walking around there. We had pre dinner drinks at the bar then went to dinner. It was a great night.

I love 'Ohana. There are a lot of families here too and they do entertainment for kids. However, it is easy to tune it out. Also, if you go late and get a window table you can view Wishes.
