Faith's MAW "Super" Wish Trip! 3/2-3/8

I have one son who is Pooh-sized and Make-a-Wish shirts don't go big enough for him. Santa brought me a Silhouette Cameo so I was able to make him shirts! Now we can all wear our shirts in the parks!

Plans look great, you're getting close. I'm planning like crazy but still undecided on meal ressies, not sure how much extra money we'll have. May make a few and cancel if we need to. So excited for you guys!

WendyLou, that's what we did also! We have made the two most important ADR's for our first day ('Ohana and 1900 Park Fare). Then if we are looking to be low on money or if they totally freak Faith out, I still am within the cancelation window for the others.


I have been making good use of the Cameo that was under the Christmas Tree.

These are for Mayor Clayton's surprise birthday party at GKTW!

I just started on these, they are for the Princess and Pirate Party at GKTW. We will all be "pirates" and Faith wants to be a princess. A pirate princess! LOL Still trying to figure out how to do that one.

just read your whole pre trip report. I love all the shirts you are making! I am trying to plan like crazy for our MAW trip it is so close. I have not heard if DS is going to get anything special at Universal I know he emphasized he loves super heroes and I think he mentioned Universal over WDW. Either way he will have a blast and we are getting excited. I feel like you about planning, I am hoping that once we get there i can feel relaxed and enjoy the flow and not hope to do everything. With all the fun stuff at GKTW just trying to figure out what we will make sure we are back for and what we will miss.

chcmama, I'm glad you found my PTR! I think we are so used to having to be uber-planners with our kids that it is hard for us to let go a bit and just go with the flow. I'm sure going to try though!!

Santa brought me a Silhouette Cameo die-cutting machine. I used it to cut out designs that either DH and I made or that we found on free sites. We cut using heat transfer vinyl. Then we ironed it on!

I have had a lot of fun making the shirts for the GKTW parties, but I am stuck regarding things to wear in the park. I'm drawing a blank regarding ideas, and on our Harry Potter day too.

I am considering getting a bag to attach to the back of Faith's wheelchair. It would hold her extra clothes and some of her equipment.

My concern is when we are actually on rides, how safe will the bag be? I've heard of backpacks being taken out of strollers and such that are left in stroller parking. Does this happen to bags on wheelchairs also? Do many of you leave the bag attached to the chair?

When we have gone in the past to WDW, or any theme park, I have left bags in the stroller and have never had any issue with it. I don't usually leave anything of great value in there though so if anything was taken it would be more of an inconvenience than anything. This will be our first time at disney with out a stroller and I'm not sure I will like having to carry stuff instead of stuffing it in the stroller

Today was a pretty exciting day! Faith tried skiing for the first (and probably last ) time! She went with Special Olympics and she was super brave with her buddy.

Getting ready to go.....must wear the hat of "her baseball team" even in winter.



About to head out of the lodge with her buddy.



And deciding that this skiing stuff is not for her.

I have a parking question.....

We have a 7:30am 'Ohana ADR

and to end our day we have a 7:30pm 1900 Park Fare ADR.

In between the two we will be at MK.

We have handicap plates and are not opposed to valet parkings.

Where would you park for the day?

If you go to Facebook, do a search with the word "Disney" and the month. I see an April group.

The March group is really helpful and I bet the other groups are just as helpful!
