Faith's MAW "Super" Wish Trip! 3/2-3/8

Have you heard of "shrink my feet" massage oil for edema? I got it because of pregnancy-related edema. It might help with some foot discomfort, and it smells really nice.

That Gaston shirt is priceless.

I have a parking question.....

We have a 7:30am 'Ohana ADR

and to end our day we have a 7:30pm 1900 Park Fare ADR.

In between the two we will be at MK.

We have handicap plates and are not opposed to valet parkings.

Where would you park for the day?

Either Poly or GF, depending on what time of day Faith is most likely to like/tolerate the monorail. The monorail runs between the two hotels. It looks like the parking might be slightly more convenient at the Grand Floridian.

Handicap parking at the grand was a small lot (unless there was another that i did not notice.. as i missed the main parking lot twice! lol.

handicap parking is almost directly accross from the bus stop at the grand. im not sure if the grand would allow you to park there all day as your reservation is not until the evening. when you are leaving for your dining reservation, one parent could get off at the poly and drive the car over to the grand and meet up in the lobby? shouldnt be more than about a 5 minute drive. and the other parent could ride the monorail with faith and get you checked in for the reservation?

I am considering getting a bag to attach to the back of Faith's wheelchair. It would hold her extra clothes and some of her equipment.

My concern is when we are actually on rides, how safe will the bag be? I've heard of backpacks being taken out of strollers and such that are left in stroller parking. Does this happen to bags on wheelchairs also? Do many of you leave the bag attached to the chair?

Related....what kind of bag do you have? :confused3[/]

Subbing in! Faith is adorable, I love that she dresses fancy every day. More people should do that!

Never been to Disney with a wheelchair, however at home my Mum has this style bag on her chair:

Loads of room, easy to get on and off, and also has a handle on the top so you can carry it like a regular bag too (I guess you could also clip a luggage strap through the "handlebar"-loops too).

Have not been posting much lately, sorry. Faith (and the rest of the family) had a run in with the flu. Luckily we caught it pretty fast and all got on Tamiflu quickly. Luckily we have managed to avoid being admitted! :thumbsup2

We got some Mickey Mail. YAY!

Right before the flu hit, we took Faith to the nearest Disney Store and let her pick a lanyard and a starter set of pins to trade.

Another surprise showed up from her Wish Fairy. It's an encyclopedia of characters that she might see in Disney World! By her huge smile I bet you can tell this was a huge hit!

I found a bulk pack of trading pins on Amazon. So every day between now and her Wish Trip, she will wake up to find a new pin on the page of that character. Then we will read about them! She is really enjoying the daily surprises. :goodvibes

I hope you all are doing well!

So, ponchos.

I figure we should be prepared for rain because.....Florida.

What is your favorite poncho?

Faith got some Fairy Godmother Mail yesterday! She was so super excited! She even had to take it to school today to show everyone that Elsa and Anna wrote to her! Thank you so very much FGM..... :)

We found out that our last day at Universal (and last full day of our trip :sad1:) will be a Mardi Gras day with parade and concert. I've been reading a bit and it seems very family friendly so we plan on sticking around for the fun as long as Faith's stamina holds.

So I made her this today to wear!

Very cute!

I note that my pictures are not showing up. Hmmmm. I'll work on it.

Aside from the frantic attempt on Feb 25th to secure a BOG lunchtime ADR, I think the last part of our trip just fell into place. Got Faith an appointment for a mini-Princess makeover for our MK day right before 1900 PF. :jumping1: It will be a manicure, crown placement and a dusting of glitter.

YAY!

Ok, I went through and re-uploaded all of our pictures. Whew. I post too many pictures! :rotfl2:

you are so talented!!! i wish i could make "wish clothes" for Logan but oh no, it would be a hot mess! I can not even sew a button and might have been known to use the tape you iron in hems for a permanent fix....:rolleyes1 I am a really good cook though, thank the Lord! You are so close now, I cant imagine the excitement in your house!
