Good news and bad news today.

First the good....

We heard from our Wish Coordinator and we have our dates for sure.:banana::banana:

Bad news...

Our Wish Granters were mistaken and our chapter is one of the ones that does not allow extending of dates. :sad2:

We will be at GKTW from March 2-8th. :yay:

And we should have flight information within a couple weeks because we are trying to coordinate my oldest daughters flight to land near the same time as ours. We are flying her in to stay with us at our expense.

Don't know how I missed all these updates but I'm so excited for you guys!!

Faith giving her doll away had me near tears.

Hi Kristi77! Wow, your dates are coming up fast! I'm excited to read your trip report afterwards since we have some of the same things. I'm especially wondering about the Jedi Training! Is that one of your Wish Kids to dos?

I chose our reservations based on who Faith most hoped to see. Cinderella and Prince Charming (1900 Park Fare), Snow White (Askerhus), and Stitch ('Ohana). My older kids wanted Tusker House for Safari Mickey and Donald. :rotfl:

The reservations just fell into place. When I made the ADR I figured nothing would be available in the dates and times we wanted but they were! :dance3:

The only thing I would change if I could would be 1900 Park Fare about an hour earlier so we would have time to then go on the Pirate Fireworks Cruise.

But I am happy with how it all came together. :woohoo:

I did 1900 Park Fare for breakfast a few years ago. (Because Mary Poppins is there.) It is such a beautiful restaurant plus it was fun to walk around the Grand Floridian.

Your itinerary looks great!!

I'm pretty sure I just lost any hope for nomination of Mom Of The Year.

I had no idea that in our town Trick Or Treating took place yesterday! :confused3

I've never heard of such a thing. Trick Or Treating is only on the last Thursday of October.:sad2:

So here is Faith, super excited because today is finally the day to go!!!

So, I have snuck and bought tickets to Hershey Park In The Dark.

She's not feeling very well, and it may only be for 30 minutes in her wheelchair but dang it, this kid is going to get to Trick Or Treat.

Last night was a great trial run for Faith's trip! We learned that she is a coaster fan.

She rode SkyRush! :rotfl:

We also learned that after a big ride, we need to take lots of calming rides. Like the monorail....over....and over....and over. :thumbsup2

She had a really good time and made it a couple hours in the park. What actually finally drove us out was the cold and hunger. Two things I hope we won't encounter on the Wish Trip!

I hope you all had a great Halloween!

I have a question about GKTW and older siblings. I understand that each day there will be "treats" left in the villa for the Wish Kid (which is sooooo awesome!) :thumbsup2 and on TR that I've read with younger siblings, it looks like they were not left out. My question is would my older kids also have little treats? They are 18, 20, and 22 but are listed on our GKTW paperwork as "siblings".

I know they are technically adults, but they are still my babies.

Ever since Faith was born, everything has been dependant on her health. We have cancelled so many vacations, I have had to miss school plays, baseball games, marching band parades. Birthday parties have been scrapped, they rarely got to have friends stay over.....

and they NEVER ONCE complained. They had to grow up much too fast and I would love for them to be able to experience a bit of Pixie Dust while on this trip also.

If they don't have any little surprises left at the same time Faith does, then I will bring some and leave it for them when we leave each day.

So I am wondering....do I need to bring little things or are adult siblings sprinkled with Pixie Dust also? :goodvibes

This is so awesome, I love that she loved the coasters!

On the last THURSDAY? That makes no sense to me, especially when Halloween was on a Friday this year!!

Glad she likes the coasters. Good thing there's plenty of calming rides at Disney to mix in with the big ones.

I know, right???? I had NO idea! Every place we have ever lived before (and being a retired military family...it's a lot) Halloween was on Halloween. Isn't that what Halloween is for?

To trick or treat....

on Halloween??? :confused::confused::confused:

I'm just glad I was able to come up with the Hershey Park plan and that it all fell into place for it on such short notice.

I saw you were looking for help with a shirt design on the creative boards. (Love getting inspiration from those boards!) Things are a bit crazy in this week before I leave but if no one has helped you by the time I get back then I can definitely try to help you. If I have some time before I leave I'll help you.

I also made some mickey heads but they are filled with the Avengers symbols. (So a mickey head with the Captain America symbol, one with Thor, one with black widow.) I'm happy to share. I'm even happy to put Faith's name on any and all of them! I'm not on my computer right now or I'd share them.

Thank you so much Poppinspal!

I just really don't want him to feel singled out at all when we wear our Make A Wish shirts.

Yesterday Faith got glasses! She is wearing them with minimal fuss thank goodness! And I think she looks absolutely adorable. :lovestruc:
