EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

We're light eaters so there are many days when we'll have breakfast in the lounge, a meal at lunchtime and then graze in the lounge in the evening. I think we've got TS meals booked in the evening for just under half of the days on our next trip.

Thanks all, having a wonderful time :goodvibes

Are the photos on your iPad or a separate camera? I actually have an adapter for my iPad that allows me to plug my SD card directly in. It's very handy. :goodvibes You might like that for next time.

They're a mix so far, I'll have to post when I get home but will remember your tip about an adapter next time :thumbsup2

So for all of you seasoned CLers...

Typical ADRs? Do you do TS lunch and/or dinner? Usually in the lounge for apps, etc.?

Trying to plan out how to capitalize on the CL offerings...otherwise I'd book a regular courtyard view room...

We do a TS dinner every night even when we stay CL so we aren't usually around the lounge for evening apps, but we make good use of the lounge other parts of the day. However, with that said, we stay CL more for the lounge and having a place to relax than for the food.

The ones on your iPad are easy to share. Just download the Photobucket app, it's free to use. Once you upload the pics to Photobucket they provide you the links to share them online. :)

We only do TS dinners for less than 1/2 of the days. We usually do TS lunch - especially in the summer. It gives us a break from the heat. Then we have appetizers in the CL and head back to the parks. We love the late nights at MK.

We definitely do not spend as much on food when staying CL. We enjoy the break in the day and snacking at the lounge. We usually stay in the EPCOT hotels so getting to EPCOT or HS is easy after the lounge break.

We are doing a split stay with CL and non-CL rooms for 2+ weeks in July. We have ADRs scheduled for each day we're non-CL, and no ADRs scheduled for the days we have CL. We think the snacks in the lounge + a light CS in the evening is enough. If we're extra hungry, or if we're not going to be near the lounge in the evening, we'll look for a place we can walk up and sit down, or we'll just wing it with CS.

We normally have breakfast in the lounge, our big meal is a TS lunch in a park, then appetizers in the lounge. Usually dessert in the lounge too!

Sometimes we book a character breakfast, so we make it as late as possible (11:30ish a.m.) so we still have a light breakfast in the lounge to get us going and then use the late character breakfast as our TS lunch.

There are certain restaurants that we love for dinner TS, like Ohana, so we'll skip lounge appetizers on that night.

Hey guys, I have a question I am hoping you can help me with. I am concerned my two children, both under 5, might not find too much they like during the afternoon and evening offerings at the Old Faithful... (On top of that my youngest has a peanut and egg allergy !) just wondering what other parents have done in this situation. I figure we can just go to the food store and stock up on stuff special for them, but it definitely makes it tough without a microwave in the room. I'd appreciate any advice! Thank you!!

We've stayed CL at Poly, BWI, BC and CR but not WL (yet!) Based on our experience with the other CLs, each have some similar standard items. And as a mom of three boys - one very picky, one very adventurous and one in between, I can report that all of our kids have always been happy with each club lounge. For our pickiest, afternoon always offers cookies and some kind of candy (often a gummy candy) and in the evening, he always eats apples, caramel dip (not sure if the dip is available at WL) cheese and crackers. At some CLs, they've noted what our kids have enjoyed and offer those items in addition to the ones set out at a given time (cookies, for example.) We've never found it necessary to bring in outside food. Hopefully someone can address WL CL more specifically, but I just wanted to add our experience across other CLs in case it's a helpful start!

Thank you, that's great to know! I'm hoping that they will find stuff to enjoy... still worry about the allergies. I think no matter what, we might be proactive and get a few things, just incase! Thanks for writing!

I think you should contact WL IPO and let thrm know about the food allergies. Maybe they can bring in some different food for your youngest? Disney tries hard to work with allergies, and if you give them advanced notice they have time to plan for you.

Evening offerings at both CLs I've been at usually include fruits, veggie, & cheese platters, some kind of meat, crackers, rolls, salads, so most people can find things they like.

We don't have food allergies in our family, but I'm an attorney and I advise public school districts regarding accommodations for students with allergies. I serve on allergy committees, help develop 504 plans for students with allergies, etc. So I'm usually aware of situations where it would be tough for little ones with allergies, and WDW seems like one of the best and most accommodating places to be! As Sue mentioned, definitely let them know in advance and they should work with you. And I agree, always good to be proactive, just in case. Could you fit some items in your suitcase? That's what we did sometimes before CL when we ate breakfast in our room - easier than running out for something upon arrival.

We always do CL breakfast and may take a little something along (croissant, etc) for a morning snack at the parks. Then we often do TS lunch at a park or Boardwalk. Sometimes we grab a lunch snack at the lounge if we're headed to the pool. We make our dinner from what's available in the lounge. We are "senior" adults, so we don't need too much to keep us going.

I do this too when not staying CL. Easy to throw bag of bagels, instant oatmeal pks, dried fruit etc in suitcases.

Thank you all!! Disney restaurants have been Wonderful with my sons allergies!!! I just didn't think they would do anything special since it's not a restaurant. I will definitely call in advance and see what they say. No matter what, I will still buy alternatives just incase! Thank you all again!!!!

I have a cousin with food allergies, the CL staff at the Poly arranged in-room dining to bring him food at no charge. :)

That's Great to know!!!! Thanks so much!!! I am definitely going to look into it. It would definitely make it easier on us not having to worry about what he can and can't eat. Thanks again!

Just returned from a CL stay at CR (severe shellfish allergy) and found people very cooperative...just beware cross-contamination issues with guests (especially children) using the same serving spoon for different dishes. There was a possibility of that on one of our nights, and my husband was worried, so I was sent up a special little skewer of chicken for the room. It helps to keep repeating the allergies to everybody you see because CMs really do rotate day to day, at least during our stay at CR. I had talked to IPO and Food Service beforehand, but the front-line people in the lounge were the most helpful.

Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it! It's great how they go above and beyond for their guests. I will definitely inform the CM's. I think breakfast will be easiest with him, desserts will be our biggest issue (peanuts and eggs make dessert time miserable for him). It breaks my heart when everyone else is eating cake or cookies and he can't have any. Anytime I go to a party I always offer to make a dessert, so he'll be able to have something. Thanks again!! I hope you enjoyed your trip!!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE DISNEY MOMS OUT THERE!!!!! Have a great day!
