Wow. RIV is really dropping quickly down to around the $100 level.HFJohnson---$115-$18166-150-RIV-Mar-0/24, 4/25, 150/26, 150/27- sent 6/17, passed 7/10
I don't think I would describe things quite that way if you look at RIV resale averages YoY. I don't think RIV is in the same category as, say, VB, where it's just going to keep dropping and dropping. But, probably not enough data yet to see where the price will settle. I also think it's price could change significantly once RIV is sold out and the only way for RIV owners to get more points is to pay Disney $250+ pp or pick up something on the resale market. Of course, I could just be whistling past the graveyard since I'm a RIV owner myselfWow. RIV is really dropping quickly down to around the $100 level.
Resale restrictions hitting it hard, I am surprised Disney isn't taking this to try to pump up the value.Wow. RIV is really dropping quickly down to around the $100 level.
I would say more in the $110s to $120s. We have not seen the $100 level, although I could be mistaken.Wow. RIV is really dropping quickly down to around the $100 level.
Your own deal, $110 on a contract with all of it's '23, '24, and '25 points (and no dues on '23-'24) is really more like $70-90/pt. I'd say $70/pt for sure at most other resorts, but not clear if you're going to be able to book much with the '23 points at this point. At maximum, $90/pt.I would say more in the $110s to $120s. $110 on a double loaded 50 point contract is probably cheaper than you can get any other similar sized WDW resort right now, I think?Exactly not all price per point are created equal.
There's a few here and there in that range or cheaper but certainly not many of them.$110 on a double loaded 50 point contract is probably cheaper than you can get any other similar sized WDW resort right now, I think?
There were a couple that popped up at $100 and below, those got scooped up real quickI would say more in the $110s to $120s. We have not seen the $100 level, although I could be mistaken.
Escrow officer didn’t email you saying something to the effect of he/she expects to having closing completed in 2-3 business days?Heard nothing from my agent and the DVC Title and Escrow folks despite my sellers supposedly signing their documents today. I feel so obnoxious emailing them daily but I am very anxious about this entire process.
Nope and I emailed the broker and asked if the documents were signed today around 530 PM. He didn't respond.Escrow officer didn’t email you saying something to the effect of he/she expects to having closing completed in 2-3 business days?
Seems he is OOO.Escrow officer didn’t email you saying something to the effect of he/she expects to having closing completed in 2-3 business days?
Ouch that's painful. I try to collect all my dues at 10 percent off at a minimum via DGC.
Sam's club and best buy have them several times a year. Best buy will also sometimes offer like a doorbuster for 80 dollars on 100 dollar GC. You can stack some with cashback apps too. This past Holiday Season I stacked giftcards.com discounted gift cards with the purchase of discounted DGC and SwagBucks cashback for 22% savings that was amazing. Costco hasn't had DGC in over a year unfortunately.Aside Costco I haven't seen that many deals at 10% off? That'd be amazing.
DVC loves that resale is tanking on RIVResale restrictions hitting it hard, I am surprised Disney isn't taking this to try to pump up the value.
