Just wanted to post two little things.
The Course Talks: The EE5K last year offered course talks like this year is doing. I stopped by near the end of one of them, and it sounded like the speaker was explaining the race course and the bag check process. She also answered some people's questions about what to bring inside the park and what you should leave behind.
I think for anyone that's unsure how the race is going to be, the course talk might be good. It sort of allieviates those uneasy stressers.
The other thing.... I noticed while reading the final race instructions last night that the scavenger hunt section of the race will "officially" close at 12:15am.
I told my mother this, who is a single walker and has been really worried about the cut-off time, and this really helped her relax.
So, anyone that might stress about not making the 16mm time, you should have over 2 hours to get through the whole thing. Just hope this makes people less nervous! (I know it eased my worry, a little)

I'm glad it was an easy fix for you too!
But can totally see me getting turned around even though I've been to the park loads of times. Thankfully, my teammate has a much better sense of direction than I do.
), but I got a bit blindsided during my training this winter with news that I had to have surgery for thyroid cancer on March 8th. Initially DS and I didn't think we would be able to go to Florida at all, but it turns out we can and even though we won't beat any records with our run/walk times, we are thrilled to just be going and hope to just have a great time and celebrate having this chapter behind us!!

Just no way I can do it if I don't start til almost 10pm giving myself around 42 min to run and who knows how long for the rest??
