I am not completely clear on certain aspects of the Power Pass version of the AP. My plan is to get one shortly and start using it in mid-June, but I want to be sure of certain things:

(1) There appears to be a 3-months-free promotion going on right now for APs. I plowed through a LOT of fine print at the Universal Orlando website, but did not see an offer end date. Do they just pull these deals whenever they feel like it, without notice?

(2) I would like to use FlexPay to purchase a Power Pass. In order to keep those 3 "free" months, it appears that I need to make sure that the down payment and the subsequent 11 monthly payments are all fully paid before I cancel the renewal (assuming I want to, which I probably will). If cancellation happens before the 11th monthly payment is done, the 3 months are taken away. Is that accurate?

(3) Let's say I purchase the Power Pass through the website on April 1. Is that sufficient to purchase an AP-discounted ticket for an Epic visit in June? Or do I have to buy a regular Epic ticket because I haven't shown up at any park yet?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but after going through a lot of asterisks, pop-up boxes, footnotes 1-14 etc., it's not so easy to understand some of this stuff.

I can answer your Epic ticket question. Right now you have to purchase a regular Epic ticket because you did not activate your annual pass yet. You have to activate it in person at the park, and you have to ENTER a park to do it. (Not Epic park.) The day you activate it is the AP start date for your expiration date.

1) I've found this to be random. Same with the promo start dates, I bought my AP like a month before the three months deal :(

2) Yes: "*The three (3) free months will be added to the end of your twelve (12) month term. If the Pass is cancelled before the twelve (12) month term is paid in full, the additional three (3) months will be forfeited."

3) Your AP needs to be activated before you can buy the Epic ticket. Once you use your AP you'll see a banner in the app (in the wallet) to purchase a discounted Epic ticket.
