Here's another QOTD-

Today, my kids are both bringing popcorn for snack, to share with their classes. What is your favorite popcorn flavors?

If i make it, then just a little butter and salt. If store bought then white cheddar.

I feel like eatting.................nothing right now, but just finished putting Swiss Steak in the crockpot for dinner. (Nancy' recipe!)

I wouldn't mind having that recipe!

I like plain old popcorn with salt and butter. Also caramel with nuts and white cheddar. Sometimes with a little chocolate drizzled on it. I like to try new flavors.

I would like to try a spicy flavor, wonder if red pepper flakes or a little cayenne pepper would work?

Hmmmm, it might. I like to try the different kinds from places like The Popcorn Factory.

Autumn is my favorite season as its very colorfull, however i hate that it starts tp get cold.

Was it a big one? Any damage or injuries? Are you okay?

Everytime there is an earthquake in Japan or some other islands, we are told about it since it could trigger a tsunami here, and it is scary.

My favorite season would have to be Spring. The longer days, not so hot days like the summer season.....and gardening!

Everytime there is an earthquake in Japan or some other islands, we are told about it since it could trigger a tsunami here, and it is scary.

We're OK, no reports of damage. It was a 5.9, and it was centered in Virginia which is about 300-500 miles away. But people up & down the east coast felt it.

Mine is spring. If it snows you know that it will melt. (Unlike in Ocotber when it snows.... it might not melt until April)

The weather is mild (after below zero temps of winter). The days start to get longer!!!! It cultimates on June 20th as the longest day of the year. The skies start to visibly lighten about 3:45am. The sun rises around 5 am. At 10 pm the sun is just starting to think about setting. by 10:30 the sun does set but you can still see the remains of light about. It's awesome!!!!


The sun was firmly down at 9:30 last night. Yuck!!!! the days are getting shorter!!!! And you can tell!!!

I'm glad you are all ok! It's just not an area that you expect earthquakes.
They are scarey!
I grew up in California so it was not a big surprise when we'd get one. But to be in an area where they usually aren't...very scarey!

I like Fall the best for the foliage, the crisp air, sounds of the drumline at the football games, Halloween, brisk winds blowing the leaves as they fall. Stuff like that.

I have a friend that lives in Virginia Beach and she was in Garden Ridge when it hit. She said that she felt a little nauseous while there, slightly off balance and didn't know why until she got home and heard that there had been an earthquake

It was still dark at 6:30 am this morning and it was dark at 8:30 pm last night.

Even as hot as it's been this year, I still love summer. The green trees and grass, the birds, and just the rubust life all around. Winter is just so "dead" and cold and depressing.
