Is it worth it to pay for premium access to touringplans.com? Or is the information on crowd levels, wait times, which park which day etc... good enough on EasyWDW?

I'd only recommend subscribing to Touringplans if you're going to use the actual touring plans. Personally, I prefer EasyWDW's crowd calendar/analysis.

Have only used easywdw. this last trip - Dec. 16-25, Was amazing! I was dreading the crowds so I followed their recommendations and enjoyed a stress free vacation. We only pulled fast passes for TSM, RnR, TT, and soaring. We were out of the parks before dark every night except for the night we watched F! I kept saying that I could not believe its not more crowded!?

I like easywdw because Josh gives really good explanations why he rates a park the way he does. So if maybe you want to do EMH mornings and hop to another park and that is the only reason he has it as a do not go to park you can go and then hop to one of the less busy parks when you want to.

I would probably use some of the touring plans, but I don't follow them rigidly.

I wouldn't bother paying then. Then easywdw forums are great for tailoring realistic plans for you and yours that can be flexible.

I like Touring Plans because of the touring plans and not for crowd predictors and such. I don't pay attention to those on EasyWDW or anywhere else. I plan our days according to what I want to see.

I used easywdw for my last trip and I definitely plan on using them for my upcoming trip in April as well!

easywdw was right on for us in april last year! Going to base our days on that again this april.:yay:

I love touringplans, have always found it to be incredibly accurate.

Have started to use the customized plans where you pick the rides, shows, reals you want and it comes up with a personal plan. worked like a charm last week during some pretty crowded days.

Worth every penny IMHO!

You will find fans of both sites here. I've been using touringplans.com for 4 years. Their website has lots of information and I think the Lines app itself is worth the small yearly subscription. I'm also a big fan of their cheat sheets. They were really helpful on my first few trips.

I have always used touring plans and followed their recommended parks and have never run into big crowds at any park.

I stick with TP because what TP has and what EasyWDW has usually conflict so I just stick with TP.

I use EasyWDW. The recommended parks are completely opposite for my next trip - I've planned my days according to EasyWDW without a second thought. It's always worked for me in the past, while TP has been a little spotty (and I visit several times a year).

I use easyWDW to pick what park I will do on each day. Then I use touringplans.com to plan the details of each day. The TP app is terrific.
