EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

Back from camp. We had a wonderful time. It rained about 2 inches on us, mostly at night, then it got REALLY hot during the day. For anyone who doesn't know, 50mph winds and heavy rain on a canvas platform tent sounds like you stuck in a carwash. At least all the girls rememberd to bring ponchos with them this year.

Sharon--I'll check out your site later today. Sounds fun!

Tammy--Baby is doing great, we're listing our house for sale by owner in the paper this week, the carpets here at our old house got cleaned while I was gone, and DH and DS moved the kitchen table, some of the furniture, and cleaned the garage. It's looking REALLY bare in here!

Talk to you all later!!

Stacie every time you go camping it rains. Here is some :sunny: 4 U

Alot of things are happening in the Queen's Palace.

Getting new stove, frig, & water heater. Bad water damage under the water heater. Floor has to be repaired before we put WH in, but need WH for water. I'm at a catch 20/20. Called a carpenter in a few days ago.He thinks it will take 2 days to repair floor. Can't put the stove in either until floor is done. Well I could, but then we have to move it again to put floor in. The laundry area is off the kitchen, looks like it is in my kitchen.

Had to call in an eletrican for the stove, he came today & braker box has had major water damage. There was water coming from some where, from the roof. All the brakers are rusty. Now I have to get a new braker box. I think it would have been better to move.

Have a great week-end Disney friends ;)

Houses are money pits, aren't they? That movie had it right on target. Good luck with the renovations Sharon.

Wow thats a lot of water damage.

Camping while raining doesn't sound fun.

I haven't been aorund too much lately because I've been geting my department ready for tax free. I live at best buy tomorrow for 36 hours. Then finally its over.

Hi guys! We are back! Had a great trip, but boy was it HOT!!!!! We hit all four parks at least once and went back to MK and Epcot two other times. Expedition Everest is GREAT!!!!! I really liked that one!

Sharon, sorry about your house problems. :(

I will post more later. I think I should go unpack now.

Glad you are back Christi and had a great time. I bet it was hot. I have been in August twice and it was really hot. But I had a great time both times.

Sharon--Sounds like the typical remodel, a snowball rolling downhill. Hope you get it all worked out.

Christi--Can't wait to hear more about your trip. Glad that everyone had a good time.

Well, we close on the house tomorrow at 9:00, and we have a beautiful realty sign hanging in our front yard. I hope it sells fast!!!

Nothing else is new, just can't wait to get moved and hopefully settled a little bit before school starts for the kids.

Tammy--Is school going better for your DD now that she's a few weeks in? I hope so.

Stacie---things seem to be going better for her. That is sweet of you to ask. But I think this is a demon that we will be dealing with for quite a while.

I am really busy with work right now, and I need to be to get what I need to do to get tenure on down the line.

I am waiting for my son to come home so we can go and adopt a kitten. The kids are excited. I feel a little anxious about the adoption. I haven't had a cat since I was a kid, but never an indoor cat.

Seems like we all are dealing with stressful stuff--home renovations, pregnancy and home sales, moving, traveling with relatives....I guess we will all need a cruise by the time that we get that far.

Tammy--Adopting a kitty is so exciting. We had only ever had dogs until DD talked us into getting a kitten a few years ago. Cats are definately different than dogs!! They are so low maintenance compared to dogs, we are able to leave ours home when we go away for weekends, our neighbor just feeds her once a day and she's fine. The biggest thing is the litter box, now that I'm pregnant we finally bought a littermaid automatic litterbox. Now all I have to do is remind my husband to throw the "stuff" out once a week.

I agree that we are all earning our cruises. I guess we'll all appreciate a vacation so much more after a stressful year.

Hope everyone keeps smiling!! :sunny:

My seventeen year anniversary is this Saturday the 19th. Only I will be not be celebrating this year because my husband moved out last Saturday.

Neither of us has been all that happy for a long time and as you guys know, we just moved to a new state, new city, new jobs. We have been at each others throats pretty much. Well, on Saturday, we had a big fight and he has moved out and next week, he is moving back to Illinois to his old job.

I have had a few sad moments. I am not devastated. I think this is for the best but it still hurts. Hugs?

:grouphug: :grouphug: I am so sorry Tammy. How are you and the kids handling it? I hope everything works out for the best. :grouphug:

I think the kids are pretty sad. Especially my son. They are the innocents in all of this. I just keep thinking that I did everything I could to work things out. (within reason) I don't see us together anymore. There really wasn't a whole lot of "marriage" left. But we both just kept on hanging on. My brother thinks that he will change his mind in time and come back. But, I am not sure that I want him back. It would take alot of convincing on his part.

Thanks for the hugs!!

You're Welcome. Just let me know if you need anything. :grouphug:

If only I weren't so far away I would make you one.... :drinking1

Hi Tammy. I'm very sorry for what you're going through now as well. My sister is going through the same thing. She has 2 teenaged kids. It's hard on everyone. :grouphug:

I'm doing okay. Still very nauseous. Bananas seems to help and my dog likes sharing them with me.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We're finally going to tell my parents this weekend. I've been avoiding talking on the phone with them, in case I let it slip.

Sorry guys I have been MIA for so long. The house stuff just about killed me.
I have to agree we all need a vacation from reality.

Keep your head up Tammyalphabet and do whats right for you.

Well you know how things happen in three's.....well
1. Car breaks go out 400.00
2. Central Air goes bye bye 4000.00
3. Loose a client with daycare due to she cant stop having babies and they are getting a live in nanny.
4. And the best for last we have termites in our yard next to the house....no clue what that is gonna cost.

Please tell me my little black cloud is moving on??? It sure feels like there is some outside force not wanting us to cruise.

Have a good one guys.

Kristin
