What a good idea to add States!

I suppose, more so with states than countries, it depends on how long counts as "visiting". I wouldn't put down somewhere where I'd just used the airport to make a connection or one where I'd only driven through a small part of it without stopping, whereas others might count that. Making an overnight stay or visiting a specific attraction/event there would probably be my qualifier as to whether I'd list it or not.

On that note: (in order of visit, to the best of my recollection)
Countries - England, Wales, France, Spain, USA, Australia, Scotland, Canada, Czechia, Germany, Japan, South Africa.
US States - New York, California, Nevada, Arizona*, Hawaii, Washington, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Alaska, North Carolina*, South Carolina
Canadian Provinces - British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island*, Nova Scotia
* - day trips from other states/provinces, but I did spend a decent amount of time in them, wasn't just passing through

Recently figured this out when a friend asked where all we'd been, then noticed this thread just now. We aren't having kids, and believe in traveling while you're young(ish) rather than when we are older for various reasons. We've skipped some obvious English speaking countries so far also as they seem easier to do when we start to slow down, and haven't prioritized US states yet either for the same reason.

Next week we are going to England again (just spending one night as a layover and having dinner at a pub before flying out the next day) and then on to Egypt and Jordan. Next year we have a Panama Canal cruise but we won't spend time in Panama itself so I won't be able to count it yet, and back to some Western Europe countries we've already been to. We do a fair number of repeats truth be told, especially with my brother living in the Netherlands the past 10+ years.
